Stomach Upset
I really wanted to like these more. Sorry. But- you HAVE to take them with food. If you’re like me and have IBS, please head caution. I felt so nauseous like I was going to heave, I had to get up from my desk and scour the fridge for food. Other pre/postnatals don’t do this to me. (They even say, “gentle on stomach”). New Chapter and Rainbow Light with the digestive blends are game-changers. The nutrients packed in this Milkies brand seem very decent, but I was still losing hair and breaking nails left and right. Pay a little more money and get a five-star product.

Worth it
I’ve been taking these for about 6 months, I switched from the store brand to this as I realized I valued quality over quantity. The price is great for these. Yes, they have a strong taste and smell and don’t even think about accidentally getting one wet because they REEK. But, if you can swallow pills quickly it is worth it. I love supporting a small business and know I am taking a good vitamin to continue to support my lactation journey.

Wow!
I have tried a variety of postnatal vitamins this past year. I even spent a fortune on organic vitamins which are sourced from food and not lab created forms (which 99% of vitamins are). I also tried other powder forms of postnatal vitamins that cost much more and had more supplements for breastfeeding…After trying all these different brands for a year I came back to Milkies. They are affordable and I can feel and see the difference. The extra biotin is a must for sure! Save your money and get good quality vitamins that truly make a difference for mom and baby 😊(And I notice no upset stomach either like some have reported – just have a littleFood and water in your stomach)

Not for me
I finished the whole bottle and it did nothing for MY supply. Which is why I rated it one star. What didn’t work for me, may work for another. I found that nursing my daughter, pumping more, and eating better (especially fish) worked better than supplements. I’ve been a barely-enough supplier but finding my groove took me from 3oz to 7oz for a days pump, on top of fattier milk for strictly night nursing, which I do from 9PM to 7AM.

Milk supply increase and more energy
I was NOT expecting a milk increase. I just wanted something to give me more energy and vitamins since pumping can take so much away from us. The first dosage worked. I gained energy within the first 40 minutes and went to pump and man! 6oz in one breast in 5 minutes ! I’m used to 30 minutes each breast and a total of AT THE MOST 5oz. I’m almost 2 months postpartum and my baby is only on 4oz so my body is doing its job but damn. This works! My nails are already growing, too lol

Helped boost my milk supply
I actually noticed a difference in my milk supply when taking these. They are great, on the affordable side for a “postnatal” & they did help increase my milk supply. I noticed when I shopped taking them my milk supply dipped. Went ahead and repurchased! My only complaint is the smell/taste. Aside from that these are a great option!

Working well and I like all the folate
So far so good! I’ve been taking it for a couple of months and my supply seems to be holding steady even though my period returned. I of course have some fluctuations due to what part of my cycle it is but baby still seems to be nursing ok.I really appreciate how it has so much folate as well, so I know I have a good store of folate built up in my system in case we are pregnant again sooner than intended! That is very good peace of mind for me.

So far so good!
These vitamins sure seem to be helping. I’ve been taking them for about a week and I’ve noticed my depleting supply has started to increase. The capsules definitely have an advantage unpleasant odor, but luckily I haven’t noticed a taste. I try not to let capsules or pills linger too long anyway. If things continue to go well I will be buying more.
