I like that the vitamin C is already included since it saves me from having to take a separate supplement. They’re easy to take too, which is always a plus when you’re already taking multiple vitamins.One downside is the taste. It’s not bad until it actually hits your tongue, and then it’s pretty unpleasant. The other issue for me is the iron dose. Each serving only provides 28mg of elemental iron, which is lower than what a typical daily dose is at 65mg. Even with the vitamin C to help absorption, a lot of it will not be absorbed naturally so I have to take two servings to reach normal dose. What should be a 60day supply only lasts me about 30days. If you don’t need a higher dose, that may not matter, but it’s something worth checking before you buy.

Love the brand, wish I could split the dose
I’m a fan of this brand because their supplements are clean, pure, and very transparent, like they even offer COAs, which is rare and something I appreciate. So I was excited to get these. What I really like is that they’ve paired the iron with vitamin C, which is a necessary vitamin to enhance the absorption of iron, so I don’t have to take my vitamin C supplement at the same time. No smell when I opened the bottle, and a very clean capsule, again, big props.What I don’t like comes down to iron is tricky. A “serving” of it is whatever the manufacturer decides it is, and I only need/prefer a smaller amount, based on my diet. Because this is a single-serving capsule, I can’t split the dose, which I prefer to do to nix side effects (hello, constipation). At 28 mg, this is 158% of the daily recommended dose and higher than I normally go. So while I love the brand and their supps, I’d prefer this one either in several smaller capsules so I could take only one of two or three or a hard tablet I could cut in half.
