Highly recommend for giving cats medication
I purchased these for my cat to give medication. I also purchased the smaller size 5. The size 4 is slightly larger than the size 5. They work excellent for giving cats medication. I coat the pill in gravy from his food to lubricate it then I put it at the back of his throat close his mouth and rub his neck and blow on his nose until I know he swallow it. I’m so happy I got these. I recommend the size 5 for cats.

Makes taking pills easier
These are great! For this pills that won’t go down or get stuck in the throat, put them in a capsule and resolve that issue! Also, the color makes it easy to distinguish between pills.

Hidden secret
I’m not going to pretend what I bought these for. I was horribly sick in June of 2025, & my doctors put me on gross tasting steroids, that often get stuck in your throat, as any senior citizen will tell you, occasionally all our pills get stuck, due to not enough water, or trying to take to many at a time. So my answer was, to hide those tiny little pills inside these gelatin capsules so I removed the taste from happening. I still got the full strength of the actual pill, possibly delayed by the capsule itself, but that was my choice & although I probably could have got them at a local pharmacy, with the looks some people give you while checking out, this was much better on me, all the way around.

CONTAINS RED #3 CARCINOGEN
BEWARE OF THE PINK AND PURPLE COLORS. They contain Red #3, the known and banned carcinogen. The packaging says “no additives” but clearly has additives for color. Inexcusable to use Red #3 for what’s clearly a health item. I did not see this until I received the package, and now I can’t return them.
