Not Sure About The Claims
I feel pretty neutral about this product. I don’t think a 30 day supply is an adequate timeframe to determine if these supplements will have a positive impact. Many of us spend an excessive amount of time surrounded by blue light. Studies suggest blue light has adverse effects on our sleep quality and overall vision health. In response, the market has been flooded with blue light blocking glasses, special lightbulbs, device settings, and (of course) supplements.I would have appreciated a slightly larger print on the ingredient portion of this label. The information is in extremely tiny print. There is no reason for this, given the size of the bottle. Ironic, I guess? Seeing as these are supplements for vision health. This sort of packaging practice, making things hard to read, makes me a little suspicious.Per the super small script, this supplement contains an amalgamation of 40mg of Bilberry fruit extract, 20mg of Lutein, 5mg of Zeaxanthin, and 4mg of something called AstaReal (Astaxanthin), along with 150 mg of Vitamin C. I cannot guarantee that is what is in the bottle. Still, thus far, I’ve not experienced any adverse effects taking these. The ingredients above have been hailed for their beneficial properties on vision health. Astaxanthin is a new one for me, though. Reading more about this ingredient explains the distinctive reddish color and the strong fishy smell emanating from the gelcaps. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid pigment commonly found in trout, microalgae, yeast, and shrimp. One of the side effects of taking excessive amounts is red stool. It is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. For me, I don’t think I will get these again. I would have to do more research on the maker, the efficacy of the ingredients, and if supplementation has any real impact on resolving prolonged blue light exposure. Plus, I didn’t like the overpowering smell and taste of the supplement.

May have improved my husband’s vision
My husband started taking this after seeing his ophthalmologist. At his six month check up, his eye sight went from 20/30 to 20/15. He did lose about 15 pounds during that time, but he was also consistently taking this vitamin. So the 4 stars is because we don’t exactly know what improved his eyesight, but he will certainly continue taking the Blue Light supplement.

Eye doctor loves it.
I had eye check-up and doctor said it is great for eye strain (blue-light), has the correct meds for eyes.

Using for “dry eyes”–effective
My husband has dry eyes, with significant amount of eye tearing, water draining from eyes most of the day. With this eye drainage, tear leakage reduced to a very little bit a few times a day. Very effective. Unable to tell, of course for the blue light effectiveness. Just hope that it is. Less eye strain as well. He does spend many hours on the computer playing cards as well.

Vote yes Blue Light capsules
This bottle of Viteyes Blue Light capsules has a really bad smell and because of that it is hard to swallow. I spoke to customer service at Viteyes and was told it should not have a smell.
