A good product, once again available at a reasonable price.
Calcifediol is great for me. Regular D3 gives me strange side effects like brain fog or anxiety. This does not, and indeed produces the expected mild improvement in quality of life when used to correct a D3 deficiency.About a year or more ago, going back several years, there was only one brand which sold this form of vitamin D on Amazon and, perhaps, in general. That original brand has disappeared now and was replaced by another selling this form of vitamin D at a massively higher price for an equivalent amount of active ingredient. Thankfully, this product has now appeared, selling this form of vitamin D at the same rate as that old brand did. It’s more expensive than regular vitamin D even so, but it is a good product and worth it for people who either get side effects from regular D3, or who need to raise their vitamin D levels either faster or more robustly than can be done otherwise.By the way, there are two sets of nutrition facts on the back. One for the UK and one for the US. I think the US one probably underestimates the potency of this form of vitamin D and I would probably not recommend most people follow the U.S. labeling recommendation to take two of these every day, at least not without getting your vitamin D levels checked regularly.

This stuff is awesome. I struggle with regular vit D, makes me feel “over energized”.Instead of daily dosing 10mcg and worrying about potential side effects during work week, I decided to load up on the weekend by taking 40mcg Saturday and 40mcg Sunday, for a total dose of 80mcg.I feel such a positive mental boost when I take it on weekends, to the point where I now can’t wait for the weekend just so I can take my Sat and Sun morning doses.Calcifedol has a long half life so taking a larger dose twice a week instead of small dose daily seemed to work just fine in terms of raising levels.Vit D levels Jan 2026: 25Vit D levels Mar 2026: 45I started this Vit D supplement on Feb 7th, so 5 weeks of 80mcg dosing on weekends raised levels by 20 points.I plan on trying regular Vit D again once my serum levels have been at 50+ for 2-3 weeks, just to see how my body reacts when baseline is in normal range.

Improved form of Vitamin D!
Excellent form of Vitamin D that is more quickly and easily absorbed. Works wonderfully to raise levels jusr be sure to monitor with bloodwork to make sure you don’t get TOO high as this is powerful stuff!

Body utilizes this form of vit D faster!
I did a lot of research when it came to your regular vitamin d tablets and calcifediol! The vitamin D “ranbit hole” is a rabbit hole I would suggest going down! Calcifediol bypasses the liver which allows your body to be able to utilize it quicker. There is only one other company that I have found that sells this form on Amazon. I found this one to be the better value.
