Sometimes you need to use ascorbic acid for different uses and not just as supplements for your body , thus, here it is- vitamin C powered ready to use – just spoon and go. Drink it when you are sick ( and not only with cold lol), drink it if you want stronger blood vessels or joints or better skin/ nail – helps in collagen synthesis ;add to preserves or canning process ; mix with shampoo to strip unwanted dye from your hair ! You make it- and just grab a spoon or two – and you are good . And since it’s a powder- no mess with opening or crushing pills, better absorption too. And the taste as like you eating a lemon or two ( lol) or an orange .

This is a nice big bag of essential Vitamin C powder that is a fine powder consistency. It is free from any odd odors and virtually smell-less, but you open it up and stick your nose in the back an you can tell this is pure with the vitamin-c goodness hitting your senses.There is a single scooper included, and with a little squeezing action on the back you can find it and fetch it out. It’s a fairly tiny scooper that is a single serving size of 1 gram. A single scoop offers 1,111% Daily Value which is quite adequate for your vitamin supplemental needs.The label boasts a GMP “Quality Assured”, and from what I can tell, it is good quality. It’s a fine consistency powder and mixes very well. This would go great with adding a boost of vitamin-c to virtually anything you want add it to, but mainly would go great in drinks, smoothies, candies, milkshakes, or simply water. It’s not sweet, nor does it have any citrusy flavor, but it does have a strong vitamin-C taste, which isn’t over bearing or too sour. Sometimes strong vitamin-c products have a very sour citrus flavor, but this seems to be fairly mellow being pure vitamin-c. The powder up close seems a bit crystally, which indicates the purity.I won’t go into the clinical details of this vitamin, as it is well known. I am confident this product provides a very good source of vitamin-c for your supplemental needs. Great for your immune system.The powder is very versatile for anyone who wants to include vitamin-c into their diets. The best part about this product is a little goes a long way. It’s shelf life looks like it will keep for about 3 years or so as the expiration date is about 3 years… but this might pertain to unopened vitamin-c, which they say can oxidize quicky (6-8 weeks) once opened. There is enough in here that will last a long time, and I am sure I probably won’t be able to use it all.There are 500 in this bag, so to me that is quite a lot!Overall this is a good source of vitamin-c.

This ultra-fine powder has no noticeable smell, a light tangy taste (indiscernible once added to liquid), and has given me no digestive issues. It took a little digging to get to the tiny scoop, which holds about the same amount as a single 1000mg capsule, and I’m really impressed with how quickly and completely it dissolves. The powder itself has an expected tanginess but I didn’t notice a taste when it was mixed with water so I’m sure it would be even less noticeable in a smoothie or other beverage of choice. I might start sprinkling some on my yogurt where the flavor should fit right in!I really love it that I can get my fill of this wonder vitamin without also ingesting the capsule and its ingredients – plus there are no “extra” vitamins along for the ride! (Too many products include other vitamins/minerals which can cause some real math headaches as I read through all my labels trying to determine if I’m getting too much of something that’s already covered by my multi-vitamin).It’s hard to speak to the effectiveness because if it’s something you’re already taking it’s hard to notice a difference in the way you look and/or feel. However, if it’s new to you/your system, it usually takes a while for any real benefits to show up.
