Amazing Price – But only 20 days of pills seems odd
Turmeric, and especially curcumin, is one of those supplements I like for its potential anti-inflammatory benefits. I also specifically look for formulas that include black pepper extract, since piperine is commonly included to improve curcumin absorption.On paper, I like quite a bit about this formula. It combines turmeric root with a concentrated extract standardized to 95% curcuminoids, and it includes BioPerine black pepper extract. The ingredient list is short and relatively clean, without a bunch of unnecessary extras. The label also states that it is non-GMO, lab tested, and manufactured according to GMP standards, all of which are things I look for when choosing supplements.The capsules are a normal size and I haven’t had any difficulty taking them. I also haven’t noticed any unpleasant aftertaste or stomach issues.The biggest downside is the serving size. You need three capsules per day, so despite there being 60 capsules in the bottle, this is only a 20-day supply. Only 20 servings per bottle, well tested, 2 types of turmeric, must take 3 capsules
I didn’t like that there were only 20 servings per bottle. This means I’ll run out in 20 days!! Why not make a 30 day supply, that would be much more convenient. Also I didn’t like having to take 3 capsules of just this one supplement. The capsules are average size and easy to swallow. I liked that there were 2 types of turmeric and 1 of them was standardized, so I felt confident I was getting something. I liked that the capsule blend included black pepper extract because I know you can’t really absorb turmeric without it. I feel confident that I am getting a quality supplement. I like all the testing and that it is NON GMO. I look for those things when I chose a supplement. I did not experience any stomach upset or after taste, I thought the capsule had a very mild, pleasant smell. I am familiar with the benefits of turmeric So I think this is a good, effective product. It is in the price range of similar products so my main issue is the small amount of capsules in the bottle.
