Easy to Swallow, Neutral Tasting Supplement with High Potential
Being relatively healthy most of my adult life, I scoffed at the mention of supplements. That is, until this past decade, which ironically is about the age my mother-in-law started her supplement journey. I’m not up to a shoebox full of supplements yet as she was, but I am developing a pretty sizeable daily supplement stack with others I take on an as needed basis. I ordered the Oregano with Black Seed oil as I liked what I had read about this potent combination and because I have tried black seed oil but really hate the taste of it standalone. This seemed a good candidate to add to the stack.These oregano and blackseed oil capsules are really easy to swallow, even 2 at a time. There are 60 capsules or a month’s supply currently at a reasonable point. I researched the synergistic efficacy of the black seed oil and oil of oregano and liked the potential benefits which include enhanced immune function, support of both respiratory and digestive health, and mitigating inflammation. The third leg of this supplement is the coconut oil which apparently mirrors most of the same health benefits as the oregano/black seed oil combo.While I haven’t experienced anything that I can tout as a testimony to how much these supplements have helped me personally, I haven’t had any negative effects either which I take as a positive. So far so good and extra special to me is that the taste is pretty neutral which is a real plus after straight black seed oil.My one concern with this supplement is the lack of third-party lab testing or manufacturing certification. I realize there is cost for these processes which would raise the end price to the consumer, but it would provide some assurance as to content and consistency.Overall, this blend of oregano, black seed, and coconut oil has great potential for addressing a large portion of my current health concerns. It really doesn’t have a taste to me when swallowed with water and I haven’t experienced any negative effects from this supplement. I remain hopeful that this combination will help prevent colds and flu, which is running rampant in my local area, from getting a good hold on me. So far so good!

Quite unpleasant for me and I cannot recommend it to anyone else.
Okay, I had some expectations for this product but found quite a few issues that made me stop taking it after a few tries.First off, after taking this product, I began to burp quite often, and this was not a pleasant feeling and the odor coming up was off-putting. I took this product a bunch of different meals and even by itself between meals with the same effect.Next, I found my stomach actually felt a little funny after taking it. This effect made me stop taking it all-together.Now, I will say that I have not taken other Oregano softgels so I am not sure if this is common, but for me, I will not be taking this anymore nor can I recommend it.

Gassy
This is one of the very few supplements that has cause me to have a negative side effect. I’ve taken this a few times. Each time I’ve become very gassy and dealt with acid reflux. It may have positive results for some, but for me it is not great so far. It may be that I need to adjust to it or something. I may drop back to 1 tablet for a bit to see if I see improvement. That may be a good idea for anyone trying this if they’re unsure.There is a clear but not overwhelming scent and taste of oregano. In fact, it is kind of nice.I can’t speak directly to improvements in inflammation or overall effectiveness due to the negative results so far. I’ll try a reduced dose. If I see any improvement in the results I’ll come back for an ulpdate.

Easy to swallow, but lacking transparency
I’ve been taking these for a little while, and I do have to mention that the softgels are very easy to swallow, which is a big plus. However, I am disappointed by the lack of clear third-party certifications for this product. Given that I’m taking these for immune and digestive support, I would feel much more confident if there were verified testing or certifications available to confirm the quality and purity of the ingredients. It’s a convenient 3-in-1 formula, but the lack of transparency is a concern for me.

Some Advice
It’s always difficult reviewing supplements because it’s hard to determine whether they are working or not, especially since many of them take quite a long time to have an effect. In this case, the 3-in-1 Oil of Oregano with Black Seed Oil and Coconut Oil (12,000 mg) is particularly difficult to evaluate because this is something people generally take only when dealing with an illness, such as the start of a cold or some type of intestinal distress.When I received the bottle, I checked into how and when to take the supplements since I already take other supplements daily. Interactions are very important to pay attention to. I was surprised to learn that oil of oregano is not something you should necessarily be taking every day. Please do your own research and make sure you understand when and how it should be taken, including whether to take it with food or not.I knocked off a star because THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN EVERY DAY, yet the bottle suggests taking two softgels daily with water 30 minutes after meals, or as directed by your physician. It does correctly say not to use it on an empty stomach and to avoid using it if you have a digestive tract ulcer, which is helpful guidance. However, the information I found elsewhere strongly suggested this supplement should be used more situationally rather than as a daily routine. Be your own judge, but I felt that was important to point out 🙂. That does not negate the potential positive effects of the supplement, but I thought someone should make that clear.

Seems to work – confused about no lot number or expiration date
This supplement appears to be of good quality. I’ve been taking black seed oil for awhile now and feel as though it’s really helped my immune system. I’ve come across oregano having similar benefits and I’ve been wanting to incorporate that into my diet as well. This product is a nice blend so I don’t have to buy both of them separately!The soft gel is super easy to swallow. The pills have a very light oregano/black seed herbal smell – nothing too overpowering. For anyone that’s ever had black seed oil in oil form, you know how potant that is, so having it in an easy pill is ideal.I feel that taking this has had similar effects to when I was just taking black seed oil by itself – better immunity. I’m not sure I’ve noticed a difference in energy level or anything. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects I’d contribute to this.I appreciate the small bottle size; it fits nicely in my drawer of supplements without taking up too much room. One thing that struck me as strange is that I cannot find an expiration date. I’m not too worried about it, but that should be a standard thing included…. a lot number and an expiration date.
