Let me start by saying I have never used this product, but an older friend of mine has. I have always been skeptical about natural supplements and their claims. Not that I haven’t tried a few myself. The claims just seem too good to be true. I guess all of us want to believe in something that is so inexpense could actually be helpful in our ailments. To get to my point this older friend of mine is like a lot of people her age. Her and her husband are on a fixed income and the older they get the more health problems they both seem to have. She has been on medicine for high cholesterol. Recently it has become too expensive for her to purchase. When visiting her Doctor she explain she just couldn’t afford it anymore. He started telling her about Red Rice Yeast. He said he had several of his family members on it, and that it had proved to work in lowering their cholesterol. She went to a local store and purchased a bottle of supplements. She took them as directed and at her next visit to the Doctor her cholesterol had come down 100 points. Now let me just say PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR OWN PHYSICIAN before you decide to take yourself off your medicine and try this. I imagine he will tell you to try it along with your medication. This is NOT medical advice. I am just passing on what has worked for a dear friend. I know in the day and age we live in medication is SO expensive. I would like for people to know this MIGHT be an alternative to traditional medication, but please check with your Doctor first.

I’ve been taking these daily for a couple years or so. I got a blood test years ago which stated I had high cholesterol. I also noticed I was no longer having any morning erections which I attribute to cholesterol. After taking these, I noticed i once again began having morning erections. That in and of itself tells me it reduced my cholesterol with the increased blood flow. This is also cheaper than GNC. Maybe even cheaper if you buy these in the physical Vitamin Shoppe store.
