Finally Something That Actually Improves My Sleep
All my life I’ve been a marathon sleeper. Sleeping straight through 9 or 10 hours a night was the norm. As I’ve aged, of course, the “call of nature” has begun to interfere. But the last few years there’s been something else going on. Maybe all the accumulated stresses and catastrophes over the years have upregulated my nervous system. Maybe it’s just old age. Whatever the reason, I’ve suffered greatly from being unable to fall asleep and stay asleep. I really miss my sleep marathons! I’ve tried everything on the market from herbs to essences to oils to Melatonin, even prescription antihistamines. Nothing worked at all. Only Xanax works reliably, and that’s not something I’m comfortable taking. So I asked myself the question: What does Xanax do in the brain that the others don’t? The answer is, it increases a neuromodulator called GABA, whose function is to damp down excess neuronal activity. “Eureka!” I cried. My research suggested that, even though GABA supplements may not pass the blood-brain barrier, there may be sufficient neurons in the gut to permit some uptake. So I searched Amazon for products containing GABA and I found this brand of 5HTP. It has 50 mg of GABA, and also contains certain amino acids known for their ability to increase Seratonin. I can’t which of its 4 ingredients does the trick, or if it’s a synergy among them all, but I can say with great satisfaction that I’m back to my old self sleep-wise! I drop off within 10 minutes and sometimes don’t even get up to use the facilities for 8 or 9 hours straight! Getting enough good sleep has definitely improved my mood as well. I am in love with this product, and strongly encourage the insomniacs out there to give it a try. You might not get the same results I did, but then again you might!

Working Supplement – Results Will Probably Vary
I’ve been taking these for a whole two months now. I do believe these work but I also believe it won’t work for everyone. I was taking these for anxiety.Alright so, I bought these when I was having extremely high levels of anxiety and stress hoping these could help me out. I got around 3 months worth of this supplement. I didn’t feel anything at all until the 1 month mark. Around the one month mark, I did begin to feel the relaxing/stress killer effect of these. It did come on slowly but you definitely will feel it when it starts working.My energy levels were definitely affected by this supplement. It made me feel a little more tired than usual but the relaxing effect is worth the tiredness. My anxiety and stress didn’t disappear completely but this definitely helped quite a bit. My appetite didn’t go away either so don’t worry about that. Another side effect I felt was that I found it harder to focus. Although I feel that my anxiety/stress were the reason for this, I also do believe that the supplement itself affected my ability to focus as well. Not by much but it was there.In conclusion, these supplements did work for me. I didn’t feel the effects until the one month mark so keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that supplements don’t work for all, even if it works for others. So don’t be discouraged and give these a try.

Great for taking before bed to assist with a restful nights sleep. Melatonin doesn’t work that well for me. My Dr recommended this supplement. I take 4x night and sleep through the night.
