Three birds with one stone
With this supplement, I get my daily creatine monohydrate, HMB, and Vitamin D3 all in one small scoop. They also mix in some stevia, I think to take the bitter taste of HMB out. In any case, there’s no flavor, and it mixes well enough into just about anything. I went many, many years without taking creatine, and I now realize that was a big mistake for my weight training endeavors. I only recently heard of HMB, and I’m not really sure if it is contributing much or not, but I feel like it also helps me. As for the D3, I have in the past tested for a deficiency, so it’s something I need. With this, it’s one less soft gel for me to swallow in a day.SuperiorSource supplements are made by Continental Vitamins in Los Angeles. It’s apparently been around since the late sixties. I was a little put off by the labelling, which isn’t the greatest, as well as the lack of information on it in terms of manufacturing, etc. Part of the label is obscured by the sticker Amazon puts on, but through a little digging on the web, I found their website. They don’t sell retail directly, apparently, but there was a phone number online and I called and they answered and I got the lowdown. So, I think it’s a reputable company. The product itself seems to be of the highest quality, so if you’re looking to check a few boxes with one powder, I recommend this product. Considering you get the three ingredients, it’s also a good value.

This doesn’t add up….
I was excited to get this product that combines creatine with HMB as a daily supplement. The Vitamin D is also a plus, but I get plenty of that elsewhere.I am quite disappointed. My experience seems quite different from the other reviews here….I’ve used at least 8 different brands of Creatine. Most/all of them offer a 5g dose which is about the size of 1.7 teaspoons. The other brands also mix into water easily just by swishing it around in a cup of water. The other ones are tasteless and don’t contain sweetener.This product claims to offer 5g of Creatine plus 3g of HMB (8g total) but the dose size is almost half the dose size of most/all other creatine products with 5g only. It doesn’t add up.Also, if you don’t want clumps etc. you have to really stir it in…. This doesn’t melt into the water just by swirling as other creatine products do.Lastly, the sweetener seems quite strong. I’m sure it must be masking the HMB or Vitamin D taste, but it is certainly too strong unless you are mixing it with a large portion of something else.I doubt it provides the amounts of ingredients that it claims. It is difficult to prove/disprove that any supplement works like they should, but I am doubtful and disappointed in what this provides. Spending about $1 per day for this is just not worth it. I will continue to seek HMB elsewhere while using a standalone creatine product.

Perfect Workout Combination Creatine/HMB. But where’s the Vitamin K?
I love this stuff. Creatine for added energy to do my workout ( I need all the help I can get), and then HMB to retain any muscle mass gained and not lose it. And if I’m lucky, add some muscle too. It also makes my workout drink taste good. Those three factors alone make this a great workout supplement.However, It does have Vitamin D3 in it but not Vitamin K? Those two are generally combined together to work synergistically for better results and increase testosterone when combined. So I just take a Vitamin K with this. Other than that, great stuff.

Provided a slight increase in energy – Mixed well in a shake
I like to take a pre-workout shake and add Creatine to the shakes for an energy and pump boost. So when I got the opportunity to try the Superior Source Creatine powder I did.I tried it in plain water, and did not care for the flavor or texture, but wanted to try it per the manufacturer instructions. But, when I added it to my protein shake, shown in the review photo, it did not negatively affect the flavor or texture. I also believe it does give me a bit of an energy and stamina boost on the days I add it to my pre-workout routine.In taking it, I have also not noticed any negative affects, so for me it has been a solid addition to my workout routine.
