Good supplement.
Arrived quickly and in good condition. Double tamper-sealed with both seals intact. Expiry-date on the bottle is 10/2026You get 120 of them but the serving-size is 4 capsules so it’s still only a month’s supply.It’s a nice mix of amino-acids (L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, and beta-alanine), some of which were missing from other supplements I take.The pills themselves are reasonably-sized (about average for capsules) and easy to swallow, but again, the serving size is 4.They DO seem to work fairly well to prevent soreness after a more-vigorous-than-usual workout, which is what counts.All considered, I think these are worthwhile. It’d be nice if the supply was more than a month, but I’m not going to dock a star for that. Let’s just say I docked it half a star and then rounded up.

Seem to work!
I was skeptical that these pills would actually help reduce soreness and improve recovery, but I think they do actually work. I ran a marathon a few weeks ago, and after I recovered, I got back into my normal training, which includes 15-20 hours a week of running/biking/swimming and lifting. I felt like after recovery I would be quite sore from getting back to normal training and took these pills after training sessions. Although I feel like I’m still getting back into the swing of things, it hasn’t been too bad, and I haven’t been too sore! The ingredients in these pills are pretty simple–beta alanine, tart cherry extract, Dynagenix (a proprietary form of Boswellia), plus L-leucine, L-iloleucine, and L-valine. The serving size is 4 pills, which is a lot, but the pills are small and easy to swallow. I am very happy with this supplement and will continue to take it to help me recover from hard training sessions. I also really appreciate that these pills are made in the USA and GMP certified.

Good post-workout supplement
Sunwarrior is a well-loved brand with many vegan friendly health and wellness products. This new post-workout supplement appealed to me because of the addition of boswellia to the balanced 2:1:1 bcaas. After taking it post-workout a few times, I can say that I recovered a bit faster than normal with regards to overall soreness and morning after stiffness.The capsules are average sized, and while you have to take 4 to get the proper dosage, it was not a problem for me.Another win from a great company!

So far, I am mixed as far as the results of this product
I am someone who works out multiple times during the week and I rely on different supplements to assist with my goals.I always take a pre-workout, but until recently I never really started taking post workout supplements.But it only made sense, so I started taking a few powder form Products.A few felt like they were doing a good job while others did nothing.So when I came across this product, I liked the reviews I read and everything that it promised so I decided to go ahead and place an order.Once it arrived, I started taking it right away after my workouts.So far, I’m kind of torn on whether or not it’s doing its job.My soreness and recovery does seem a bit better, but I don’t really notice any difference in the size of my muscles.I’ve been taking it for almost a month now with very little difference in size or strength.I think for me, so far it’s just the recovery time that’s been getting better.I really had high hopes of this product, but I still have half a bottle to go, so once I am done with it, I will revisit this review and make any adjustments needed.So at this point, I’m giving it a middle of the road rating with three stars.You may get a better result than I did because I do take various supplements so Maybe it didn’t have as big of an effect on me as it will with others.But, this is my honest review and the best I could give it is three stars.I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.

I believe it helped
Supplements like this are hard to review sometimes. I work out 5 days a week and train to failure or near failure on most lifts. Some weeks I stay under 5 reps for heavy, other weeks I am doing lifts in the 12-15 rep range. I took these consistently, and they seemed to have worked on most days. I know from the past year which routines have left me sore, and almost always do, and many times I was noticeable less sore using this product. But then I’d end up sore the next week and feel drained all morning anyway. In the end, I would say it did help with recovery a bit based on those results.

Reduced / eliminated soreness and no side effects
I have added this supplement to my routine of daily workouts. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays (my in office days), I only do 30 mins of cardio and 1 ab exercise after work. So I put 4 of these in a sandwich bag and take them right after my workout swallowing them with water from the gym drinking fountain. On my telework and off days (Thursday-Sunday), I do weights in the morning, shoulder/arm day, leg day, chest day, back day along with cardio everyday. I take these pills as soon as I get home from the gym.I have noticed a difference with soreness after my workouts. Prior to these pills I had sore legs, back, arms and shoulders after their respective workouts (and shoulder pain after heavy bench days). All soreness was eliminated or significantly reduced except long term shoulder pain (old rotator cuff injury) which gets aggravated by laying on my side when I sleep. So while this doesn’t help with long term injuries it does reduce soreness post workout.I have had no side effects from taking this on an empty stomach. I believe it does what it is supposed to- reduces inflammation and soreness. Solid product.

Great recovery support without the jitters
I have been using the Active Power & Recovery capsules for a few weeks now, and the difference in post-workout recovery is noticeable. I train pretty intensely, and these have really helped cut down on next-day soreness, especially after leg days.
