    Be careful

    This stuff is MUCH more potent than Alpha Lipoic Acid. I cut the tablets in quarters. First time I used it my blood sugar plummetted and it was hard to keep my head in upward position while trying to work.

    Had knee replacement surgery last year and was on neurontin to manage nerve damage from the surgery. Also had been taking lipoic acid before the surgery and had to stop for awhile before, during and a couple of weeks after. Long story short is that I started taking the r lipoic acid a couple of weeks after and noticed that itching/burning feeling had dissipated significantly. I eventually was able to completely ween myself off the neurontin–consult with your doc first before doing this.

    R-Lipoc Acid in now on my “must have” product list.I DID get rid of that diabetic nerve pain in my feet with this product. It took two bottles but I did get rid of it.If you do the research R-Lipoic Acid is like a miracle antioxidant.Nothing against Source Naturals, but if you are going to buy R-Lipoic acis, you will come out so muh better buying it in bulk.For example:…Source Naturals, 60 tablets at 50 mg each, that’s 3 grams for $10, that’s $3.33 per gram.Lets say you do your research and you decide you are willing to commit to this supplement for 4 months, you would need two bottles, for a total of $20 and 6 grams.OR, you could do…Bulk Supplements, 10 grams for $19, $1.90 per gram. Basically 4 free grams.Personally, I’m taking 250 mg per day.

    The Right Supplement for Aging

    I was really looking forward to trying this, having taken regular ALA for some time. I think this is the next step and it seems to help with the fogginess and related issues. Taking one pill every other day to start; plan to increase to one a day. Two a day was too much for my sensitive constitution, but may be just right for someone else. Since everyone’s different, I’d recommend starting out slow and increasing gradually.

    A strong anti-oxidant that gets rid of all those free radicals in your body. Highly recommended to take with Acetyl-L-Carnitine. Together they get rid of the bumps on your skin.

    A friend of mine who owns a vitamin shop and is a medical intuitive recommended this product to me. With going through hormonal changes, I have noticed extra pounds around me wait, that is due to being pre-menopausal. I have been taking it for a couple of weeks and noticed changes around my wait. I will take it as suggested for a couple of months. I am only taking two a day but I heard you can take up to nine a day. I only want an inch and a half off my waist. Doing with in combination with a healthy diet.

    Do not waste your money!! Sorry to have to give TMI but I think people should know since this can be a very important supplement for people!Partner really needs R-Lipoic Acid but has found this brand…the whole entire pill floating in the toilet!! It never dissolves in the body! Very disappointed because it is a brand we both trusted for various products. Now we have to look for another brand.
