If you don’t like the taste of other DHA supplements-you’ve found your solution! This is the best tasting DHA supplement I’ve ever had. You get what you pay for,usually!Yes, it is DHA, Yes it is Non-GMO, Yes it is Vegan, Yes it is sourced not from fish. Yes, it is 3rd-party tested- all good things. I realize it is probably a small company that is shooting for quality. So, I will give them that- and it is after all your goal for your baby’s brain to develop well- so I guess you can’t put a price on that!The size of the bag was small- and I mean small. It is well packaged- resealable. The package feels quality if that matters. 30-day supply- the bag is small, so it fits into your purse or bag if needed. The oil is packaged into a tapioca-made capsule.The company may want to look over their description as they mention this is a drink mix at one point.So, if you are looking for quality vegan ingredients, this will fit the bill you are looking for.The lemon rosemary has an interesting taste. I have had lemon DHA before, but the addition of rosemary was kind of nice!oh, and the actual size of the capsule is printed on the front of the bag- nice to know info.

These are excellent health support and actually taste great!
Okay, so the idea of chewing a soft gel really sort of freaked me out, but I figured if anything I could just swallow these normally. The capsule is pretty darn big though. Because it is a soft gel, it goes down easily enough, but I decided to take my chances with chewing it as well. It popped open easily and a pleasant lemony taste came forth that was actually semi-enjoyable. The capsule itself is super firm and rubbery, and though it said you could chew it up and swallow, I did choose to spit it out. The fact that these can be chewed and are so pleasant is really great for folks who have a hard time swallowing.This supplement was easy on the stomach and left no funny aftertaste of any sort. I have been taking this for about a week now with no unpleasant side effects whatsoever.The product itself came in a resealable foil pack style bag. I really appreciate that this is a all natural, non-GMO and vegan omega-3, which I feel can be harder to find. Because if the high quality, I feel that the current listing price of just under $35 for a one-month supply is a bit on the high side, but quite reasonable, nonetheless.

Pleasant supplement taste and smell great!
The brand seems pretty trustworthy from what I’ve read about them. The packaging is cute and different than a bottle which I find kinda neat, I’d be careful to not squish the package though. Although the pills are pretty sturdy. Immediately upon opening I noticed they smell really good and the smell translates to taste so it taste quite pleasant as well. They are a typical size capsule and easy to swallow. Dha is really beneficial and I’m always an advocate for taking these type of supplements. Although I’m not entirely picky about getting it from fish sources I think this is pretty unique and revolutionary in a way. Until happening upon this product I didn’t know that it was possible to source it any other way. I really think this is a great product. I still have yet to see any differences but it typically takes me a few months to adjust to new supplements. For this as a trial I’ve not noticed any difference as I already take dha supplements but I haven’t experienced anything negative and the taste and smell is really wonderful. I guess not having fish burps is pretty cool!

Large Softgels, Mild Taste, Subtle Benefits
The Root’d Prenatal DHA softgels are fairly easy to swallow if you’re already used to taking supplements. They are on the larger side, so if you’re not used to bigger pills, it might take some getting used to. I personally haven’t noticed a big difference in how I feel since taking them, but I trust the benefits for pregnancy, brain, and eye development are there. The taste is mild lemon and rosemary, but I wouldn’t recommend chewing them, especially if you have a sensitive stomach since the flavor can be unusual. Overall, they’re an okay option for a plant-based prenatal DHA
