We like Liposomal
I’ve been taking the Rho Nutrition Liposomal Methylfolate 5-MTHF + B12 Complex for a month and overall I’m very pleased with the product and the company itself. I appreciate that they use the active forms of methylfolate and B12, which was important to me when researching quality supplements. The liposomal formulation also gave me confidence that the ingredients were designed with absorption in mind. The taste is definitely acceptable compared to many other liquid supplements I’ve tried, and it’s easy to incorporate into a daily routine. While I haven’t personally noticed major benefits yet, I understand supplements like this can sometimes take time and consistency before effects become more apparent. I’m continuing to take it because the ingredient profile and formulation seem thoughtfully designed. The only downside for me is the price point, which is a bit on the expensive side. That said, quality supplements often do cost more, and I do appreciate the company’s focus on premium ingredients and transparency. Overall, I would still recommend giving it a try, especially for anyone specifically looking for a methylated folate/B12 option from a company that appears to genuinely care about product quality.

Buyer beware
Terrible decision to bye this below par product. It contains a type of mold! Citric acid is made from black mold. And has nothing to do with citrus. Buyer beware! Once I read the fine print in parentheses- I decided to return it. But Despite following the instructions and adding photos of the expiration date it said it wasn’t eligible.

Methylfolate and B12 Supplement Liquid with a Strong, Fruity FlavorMethylfolate and B12 Supplement Liquid with a Strong, Fruity Flavor
Rho Nutrition Liposomal Methylfolate 5-MTHF + B12 Complex is marketed as “ultra high absorption” liquid methylated folate & B12 supplement. If that sounds like a mouthful, it’s because it is. What this means is that methylfolate is the active form of folate (vitamin B9), so your body doesn’t need to convert it as it’s already “ready to use”. Vitamin B12 works hand-in-hand with methylfolate. And the Liposomal part is a delivery vehicle where nutrients are wrapped in tiny fat-like bubbles called liposomes, which is a delivery format designed to help with how the nutrients are absorbed. In other words, this process is supposed to help with how the body takes in the nutrients. Of course, your mileage will vary with this. The suggested serving size is just over a teaspoon (6ml) which gives 5mg of bioactive 5-MTHF and 1000mcg of methyl B12, which is a relatively high amount per serving. Because people react differently to these ingredients, and the full dosage is a large one, I decided to go halfway. Without getting into any claims, I can say that this liquid has a surprisingly strong sweet, berry-like scent and flavor that comes through even in a small amount. (side note: the flavor is listed as orange and pineapple, but that’s not what I’m tasting at all) There’s also a mild vitamin-style aftertaste. It’s not unpleasant, but it definitely leans more to “supplement” than something you’d want to sip for taste. So I found it easiest to mix my 1/2 teaspoon with water and drink it quickly. The texture is slightly thicker than water but still smooth, and mixes quickly with liquid without any issues. Even diluted, there’s a strong sweet taste with only a small “other” medicinal sort of taste going on.You can certainly take the supplement directly, or add it to another beverage. It’s easy enough to use, comes in a tall, thin bottle that’s great for storage, and should easily fit into anyone’s daily routine.
