    Great supplement

Since adding this to my stage 3 renal failure cast she has become so spunky and playful. Very happy to see.

That potassium gel is available on Amazon

This item I have used to administer to my cat. She has low potassium, congestive heart failure and bad kidney labs.

Not an ideal flavor for cats

Why maple flavor for cats?? They hate it. And the smell lingers on your finger even after washing hands. It does seem to work though but it’s a chore getting it in them.

    My cats love this

I have a couple cats with fragile kidneys. I mix a bead of this into their wet food every day and it helps tremendously. Less UTIs and no blockages.

    Maple syrup????

Idk why they would think cats would like maple syrup. 0/3 of my cats have been interested no matter how much I try to mix it with tuna or their favourite foods

    Saved Her LifeSaved Her Life

My cat couldn’t lift up her head or walk properly. Vet originally told me that my options were a 2k bill or putting my girl down because of hypokalemia, low potassium. Then they recommended this, saying that it was unlikely it would work. They were wrong. She’s completely back to normal. She HATES the taste and texture and refuses to take it willingly, but she looks forward to the small torture because of the shower of treats she gets after. This stuff saved her life and I will heavily endorse it to whoever needs it.

Effective, but get the powder insteadEffective, but get the powder instead

Get the powder instead. This does what it is supposed to do, but if you have a cat, get the powder instead of the gel. After 4 doses of the maple flavored gel, we switched to the fish food smelling powder. The necessary volume of the gel is gigantic compared to the powder (see photo) and my cat clearly hated the gel. But easily eats the powder mixed in with a churu. Between the two, her potassium level raised from 2 (critically low) to 2.8 in 3 days, thus avoiding hospitalization.
