Great berry taste and easy to take, but this is a very high-potency dose.

I picked this up to add a high quality folate to my routine. The packaging is very secure and solid, and the product itself seems well made. Price wise, it’s a pretty fair value for a specialized liquid supplement, especially considering the clean ingredient list (vegan, gluten free, and free of major allergens). The berry flavor is a huge win it tastes genuinely good and doesn’t have that weird chemical or medicinal aftertaste that a lot of liquid vitamins do. It mixes easily into water or smoothies, but honestly, it tastes good enough to just take directly. It’s a bit too early to judge the long term health benefits, but as far as the formula and ease of use go, it’s a great blend. Because this is a professional strength supplement, there are a few important medical warnings to keep in mind before taking it. Extremely High Potency! One serving provides 15 mg (25,000 mcg DFE), which is a massive 6,250% of your daily value. This dose is typically meant for therapeutic use (like managing specific genetic absorption issues or certain types of depression under a doctor’s care). Taking this much when you don’t need it can cause “over-methylation” side effects like sudden anxiety, jitteriness, headaches, or insomnia. Taking very high doses of folate over a long period can mask a Vitamin B12 deficiency. It can fix the anemia symptoms in your blood while letting the underlying B12 deficiency continue, which can eventually cause irreversible nerve damage. It’s smart to have your B12 levels checked or take a B12 supplement alongside it. High doses of L-Methylfolate can interact with specific medications, particularly seizure/epilepsy drugs (like Phenytoin, Carbamazepine, or Valproate) and certain chemotherapy or autoimmune medications (like Methotrexate). Overall, it’s a high quality, great tasting liquid formula, but because of the professional strength dosage, you might want to check with a doctor first or start with a fraction of a dose to see how your body tolerates it.

Good quality supplement from a trustworthy brand.

I have tried this brand’s L-methylfolate capsules, and while I do prefer those over this liquid form, this 2oz bottle is undoubtably a better value. The capsules are $20 for a 30-day supply (15mg in a serving of 2 capsules from a 60 ct. bottle). This liquid supplement on the other hand is ~$26 dollars for a 60-day supply (15mg in a 1ml serving from a dropper bottle with 59 servings). Like the capsules, these liquid drops are vegan, and I also appreciate that the other ingredients are organic.Still, I prefer the capsules between the two due to the fact that these drops are berry flavored, don’t provide a B12 boost like the latter, and harder to remember to take compared to just being able to fill up my pill organizer with capsules for the week. I would prefer unflavored drops that I could just squirt it into my water bottle plain, but instead I just pour a little “shot” of water into a medicine cup, add the drops, and down it like that. It’s not a big deal as it’s just a personal preference, but flavor aside, the drops are also more work and it’s more likely in general that I’ll forget to take the supplement on some days. Nevertheless, I can still control the dosage with these drops (I actually prefer to take 7.5mg daily, therefore .5ml is enough for me). And it’s nice to have a more affordable version to fall back on.

High Quality Organic Folate From Reputable Manufacturer in Convenient Liquid Form

I’ve taken other supplements from Rainbow Light, so I was already familiar with the company’s reputation for high-quality, trustworthy products. The company has been around for 45 years. The first thing I noticed is that the bottle is made of glass, which is great because over time plastic bottles allow chemicals to get into the contents of the bottle. Lately, I’ve been making an effort to minimize the amount of chemicals my family is exposed to. I love that this Folate supplement is certified organic and free of GMO ingredients. Also, the label clearly indicates the common allergens that are not present. Two members of my household have serious food allergies, and it’s vitally important that we do not consume anything containing milk, peanuts, or tree nuts. Every ingredient in this product is something I recognized and can pronounce. I feel safer knowing there are no unfamiliar chemical ingredients. This is the first time I’ve tried a vitamin in liquid form, so I was curious to see if I like it. I’ve always had a bit of trouble swallowing pills, regardless of what they’re made from. I typically need to have extra liquid and several bites of solid food to help push them down. The dropper is easy to use. I found the liquid vitamins to be significantly easier to take compared to swallowing pills. The liquid has a pleasant taste, with a mild berry flavor. When diluted in water or juice, I barely notice any flavor at all. The vitamin has a slight color when it’s in the bottle or dropper, but it quickly dilutes in water and essentially looks clear.Since I only need to take a tiny amount from the dropper for each serving, this small bottle goes a long way. Considering the high quality of an organic product from a reputable company, I feel that Rainbow Light’s L-Methyl Folate supplement is a fair value for the cost. I’m pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to supplement their diet with additional folate.

Organic Methyl Folate Liquid – Check the Label for Pure IngredientsOrganic Methyl Folate Liquid – Check the Label for Pure Ingredients

This Rainbow Light L-Methyl Folate supplement is a liquid formula that comes in a small glass dropper bottle. The label says it’s berry flavored but the scent is very mild when you open it. It doesn’t have that harsh chemical smell you find in some cheap vitamins. The product details claim this is an organic liquid supplement made with organic glycerin. Looking at the ingredient list, it’s mostly just purified water and organic vegetable glycerin with natural flavors. I checked the label carefully to ensure there wasn’t any hidden sugar or artificial stuff. It’s a clean formula which is what I look for.The dosage instructions are clear on the bottle. You take 1 mL daily. The dropper is precise enough that you aren’t guessing how much you’re getting. This is important because it’s a high dose of folate at 15 mg per serving.I noticed the liquid has a slight tint to it from the natural coloring used. It doesn’t look like thick syrup or anything like that. It flows easily through the dropper which makes taking it simple. You can even mix it into juice if you don’t want to take it straight. The bottle is made of dark glass. This is a good sign because it helps protect the nutrients from light degradation. A lot of cheaper brands use plastic bottles that can leach chemicals over time. This feels like a high-quality build for a supplementThe value here depends on how much you use it. Since it’s a concentrated dose, the bottle lasts a decent amount of time. You aren’t wasting money on huge amounts of filler. The price is fair for an organic certified product. I’d say this is a solid choice if you need methylated folate in a liquid form. It’s straightforward and does exactly what it says on the label. There are no surprises here.

Easy to Take and Worked Well for MeEasy to Take and Worked Well for Me

I decided to give this L Methyl Folate supplement a try after doing some reading, and overall I’ve had a positive experience with it. The dropper made it easy to measure the recommended serving, and the liquid was simple to take. The taste wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected, and I didn’t notice any lingering aftertaste. I followed the directions on the label and used it daily, and for me it fit easily into my daily routine. I also appreciated that the bottle should last a reasonable amount of time when used as directed, making it a practical option for anyone interested in trying it.One thing I think is important to mention is that this isn’t the type of supplement where you should assume that taking more will produce better results. I made sure to follow the recommended dosage and would encourage anyone interested to read the instructions carefully and do your research before using it. It’s also worth checking with your physician or pharmacist beforehand, especially if you take prescription medications or have underlying health conditions. Used responsibly, I had a good experience with it and didn’t notice any unwanted side effects. Overall, I found it easy to use, appreciated the quality bottle and dropper, and felt it was a worthwhile product made with high quality organic ingredients that delivered good value for the money.

Not a fan of the flavorNot a fan of the flavor

This product is in an easy to use dispenser. The eye dropper makes it easy to measure and use.It smells very fruity and the flavor is supposed to be berry. Personally I thought it was an extremely artificial flavor, and while not horrible, not something I enjoyed. You can take it alone, or mix in a liquid. I chose to just take it plain, to make it quick. It didn’t upset my tummy or cause indigestion, so that’s a plus. There’s a good amount in the bottle, so if the flavor works for you, it would be a good value.

Clean Organic Formula with a Pleasant Berry TasteClean Organic Formula with a Pleasant Berry Taste

I recently switched to a liquid folate to help with absorption, and the Rainbow Light L-Methyl Folate has been very easy to incorporate into my morning. I’ve only been using it for a few days so far, but the initial experience is promising compared to traditional pills. The Experience:The berry flavor is surprisingly good—it’s sweet but doesn’t have that medicinal aftertaste you find in some liquid vitamins. Since it uses organic glycerin, the texture is smooth. I’ve been taking the drops directly, and so far, I haven’t experienced any digestive upset, which can sometimes happen when starting a high-potency 15 mg dose.Performance:It is still quite early to see significant changes in energy or mood, but I appreciate the high bioavailability of the L-Methyl Folate form. Being USDA Organic and Non-GMO gives me peace of mind regarding the purity of the ingredients while I wait for the cumulative benefits to kick in over the next few weeks.Pros:- High Potency: A strong 15 mg dose in a small liquid serving is great for those with specific deficiency needs.- Great Taste: The organic berry flavor makes it very easy to take consistently.- Liquid Format: Ideal for people who have difficulty swallowing large capsules or want faster absorption.Value for Money:For a 2 fl oz bottle of USDA Organic folate, the price point is fair. Because it is a concentrated liquid, a little goes a long way, making it a cost-effective choice for a high-quality methyl folate source. If you are looking for a “clean” label without synthetic fillers, this offers excellent value.
