So far so good. I don’t see much difference but I do feel a little better after taking these. I don’t know if it is from these pills or just from the weather changing or etc. I will keep taking them however. They are not too big to swallow, no side effects as of yet, and they don’t cost that much. I don’t know how effective they are but like any supplement they are not meant to be a one day fix, nor will they do everything for you. To get the biggest effect take them along with a healthy lifestyle like any other supplement and they will work great. For the price I would say it is worth a shot even if you don’t notice anything, as it has a lot of the things your body likes to use to get stuff that shouldn’t be building up in you out.

Seems to work, stomach is flatter
This is my second time trying a chitosan product. I did not notice any difference with the first time I tried it. With this one, it does seem to make a difference in having an effect on digestion. I do eat fairly clean, but like everyone else, I will occasionally indulge in a deep fried treat. If I take the recommended three capsules of this after eating such a meal, I notice I will not have the heavy sluggish feeling afterwards. I like this lets me indulge within reason. My stomach is flatter by 1″, and I am not all the way through the bottle yet. I would give this product a perfect rating if it were clear this was sourced in the U.S.A. and 3rd party lab tested for purity and contaminants, as shellfish can be particularly dirty.

Was actually my family from overseas that specifically asked me to buy some Piping Rock supplements before that put them on the map for me. Apparently it’s a pretty well regarded brand and highly trusted. They’re even more health conscious than me so if they believe in them, that’s good enough for me.For chitosan, according to the label it’s from shrimp, crab, lobster, and crayfish shells.While shrimp and crayfish are sometimes farm raised, crab and lobster aren’t due to the time it takes for them to mature. The problem with this then is that wild shellfish can be easily contaminated with heavy metals from acid rain in their environment such as the East China Sea or South China Sea.Generally that makes me a bit suspicious of any supplements with shellfish or sea life ingredients, but I guess I’ll trust them on this, but I’ll definitely still keep an eye out for Prop65 reports.Would definitely have preferred if this was solely sourced from farmed shrimp and farmed crayfish where their diets can be more well controlled.Capsules themselves are quite easy to take and have no strange tastes or smells.Research on the effects of chitosan aren’t very conclusive and there’s not that many of them out there as it’s still relatively new, but seems like it shouldn’t hurt.
