Big as horse pills but ok

I never have trouble taking large pills, but these are an exception to the rule. They are huge. I break them in half and still stick in my gizzard. Seem to work good, just a hella big pill/supplement.

Easy to Swallow and No Aftertaste

I have been taking this multivitamin daily and have been pleased with it so far. The caplets are a little large but are easy to swallow and have not left an unpleasant aftertaste or caused any stomach upset. I like that it provides a broad range of vitamins in a single supplement rather than having to take several different products. Since the recommended serving is two caplets per day, the bottle provides a 45-day supply. I also felt the price was reasonable for the amount included.

Good Daily Multi, But Caplets Are Big

I’ve been taking these Piping Rock Women’s Multivitamins for a couple of weeks now. Overall, it’s a solid daily supplement that covers all the main essentials without breaking the bank. I definitely feel a bit more energetic throughout the afternoon. That said, the pills are a bit hard to swallow if you struggle with larger caplets.Pros:Great coverage: Includes key daily essentials like Vitamins A, B, C, D, and E.Good value: Reasonable price point for a 90-caplet bottle.Clean ingredients: Non-GMO and gluten-free, which is a big plus.Gentle on stomach: Hasn’t caused any upset or nausea when taken with food.Cons:Caplet size: The pills are on the larger side and can be a bit tough to swallow.Taste/Smell: Has a strong, typical vitamin smell when you open the bottle.Daily requirement: Needs to be taken consistently to notice any real energy boost.

    This Isn’t Just a Multivitamin…It’s a Whole Cabinet!

I have to admit, I expected a pretty standard women’s multivitamin when I saw the bottle, but this one is doing considerably more than just checking the vitamin boxes. The daily serving is two caplets and provides vitamins A, C, D3 and E, along with a very substantial lineup of B vitamins and minerals. Vitamin D is 2,500 IU, vitamin C is 220 mg, and you’re getting 500 mg of calcium and 100 mg of magnesium as well. Then things get interesting. This isn’t just vitamins and minerals…there are also several herbal blends tucked into the formula, including cranberry and dong quai, turmeric, elderberry, bilberry, grapeseed extract, black cohosh, vitex, red clover and ashwagandha. There’s even a beauty blend containing collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid. Basically, somebody looked at a regular multivitamin and said, “You know what this needs? A few more roommates.”I do like the transparency here because the individual vitamins and minerals are actually listed with their amounts instead of hiding everything behind one giant proprietary blend. Piping Rock also publishes certificates of analysis, and a recent certificate for this product shows the tested vitamin and mineral ingredients passed their label-claim testing. That’s something I appreciate because I’d much rather see a company willing to show its testing than simply tell me everything is “premium quality.” No after taste. Easy to take. No side effects. But there is one thing I would absolutely pay attention to…the vitamin B6 is 40 mg per daily serving. That’s a very substantial amount for something intended to be taken every day, and I wouldn’t automatically assume that more is better just because the percentage on the label looks impressive. Anyone already taking another B-complex, multivitamin or other supplement containing B6 should look at the combined amount rather than accidentally stacking high doses. The other thing I noticed is that this is a 90-count bottle, but because the serving size is two caplets, it’s actually a 45-day supply, not three months. That’s not a deal breaker, but it’s worth knowing when comparing prices with other 90-count multivitamins.I also like that the formula uses beta-carotene for vitamin A and D3 for vitamin D, and the product is vegetarian, non-GMO and gluten-free. On the other hand, with this many herbs and extras packed into one formula, I think it’s especially important to look at what you’re already taking. Someone who wants a simple daily multivitamin may actually find this one more complicated than necessary.Overall, I think this is a pretty impressive formula for someone who specifically wants a women’s multi with vitamins, minerals and additional herbal/beauty ingredients all in one bottle. But I wouldn’t buy it simply because the label has huge percentages everywhere. The 40 mg of B6 is the number that really caught my attention, and the 45-day supply is another detail worth knowing. There’s a lot to like here…just make sure you actually want everything that’s in the bottle before making this your everyday multi.

Nice multivitamin that has so many benefits!Nice multivitamin that has so many benefits!

This multivitamin has so many added benefits to it like ginseng, guarana, turmeric and more to help supplement for your body what diet alone is lacking. I like that there are herbs to help boost the immune system and decrease inflammation. The caplets are on the above normal size, but they are coated to make it a little easier to swallow. In terms of odor, they smell like a multivitamin. There really isn’t a taste since it is coated. This is a 45 day apply since the recommendation is two caplets per day.

Great source for all your supplement needsGreat source for all your supplement needs

I’ve been very happy with the Piping Rock Multivitamin. The caplets are easy to take, and I appreciate that it provides a broad range of essential vitamins in one convenient daily supplement. The non-GMO and gluten-free formula is a great feature for those looking for a clean and simple multivitamin option. This women’s multivitamin provides essential nutrients including vitamins A, B, C, D, and E to help support overall health and wellness. It helps support immune function, energy metabolism, healthy skin, and normal cellular function. The B vitamins help convert food into energy, while vitamins C and E provide antioxidant support. Vitamin D supports bones and immune health, making this a convenient choice for filling common nutritional gaps. The quality and value of this supplement are excellent, especially with the 90-count bottle providing a convenient daily supply. I like that it combines multiple essential vitamins into one easy-to-use formula instead of requiring several different supplements. Overall, this is a well-rounded daily multivitamin that I would recommend for women looking to support their general health, energy, and nutritional needs.

They cover a lot of ingredients & made in the USA w/ 45 years experience but they smell bad. They cover a lot of ingredients & made in the USA w/ 45 years experience but they smell bad.

Cons: I’m sorry but they smell so bad, I literally have to plug my nose when I take it & I can’t put them in my regular pill holder because they smell. They kind of smell like milk but not in a good way. (These vitamins are milk/lactose free.) Maybe it’s the fish in it that make them smell bad. Thankfully, I don’t think I smell like them once they are swallowed.Another “con” is that I’m rather surprised the biotin doesn’t seem to be helping my hair, considering it’s supposed to be 3,333% of one’s daily value. My hair got thin again.Pros/Neutral: I’ve had no adverse reactions to this & believe me, I’ve had adverse reactions to one popular brand when it didn’t sit well with one my medications. Considering how many vitamins are in these “high potency” vitamins, I’m rather surprised I’ve taken to them well. I’m glad a lot of vitamins are covered in these & at rather large % of your daily value because when you look at other brands of multi vitamins, they’re missing some important ones.I like that these are specifically formulated for women, not just generic. I feel good when this brand says they have 45 years of experience & they have “in-house manufacturing.” I looked it up & they say they’re in New York & they use an FDA registered facility. I like that they’re non GMO too & contain nothing artificial. The size of the vitamins are ok & not too hard to swallow. They’re a little big but I’ve not had any problems.

Easy to Take, No Bad OdorEasy to Take, No Bad Odor

If you’re like me, you’re officially a woman “of age,” which means having a good supplement routine starts to matter more. This is exactly why I chose Mega Multi. Before this, I had a counter full of separate vitamins and minerals I was taking one by one. Some days, I just couldn’t chug that many pills. So the all-in-one aspect of this multi was the game changer I needed. For me, that also makes the value feel better because I’m replacing several separate bottles with one daily multi.Even though these have a lot of vitamins and minerals inside, they aren’t giant horse pills. A couple sips of water and they were gone. There was no unpleasant odor either, which made them easy and pleasant to take. For me, these are more digestible when I take them with a meal, so that’s how I prefer to take them, and the overall quality seems solid based on the label and how easy these are to take.I’m not a medical professional, so I can’t speak to the full ingredient quality beyond what’s listed on the label. But based on the back of the bottle, I feel good about adding these to my routine. I’ve only just started taking them, so I can’t speak to any changes in my energy yet. These types of things take time, so I’ll need to come back in several months to update my review. So far, I’m pleased with this multi.
