Reasonable pricing although I would prefer larger capsules and a 2 pill dosing, or smaller capsules and 4 pill dosing, as I normally eat twice a day, not three times per day. This is a good option if you prefer different types of phytosterols and not just one type, I would recommend looking into it and deciding what suits your needs best. The extra citrus flavonoids, olive leaf, palm, apple pectin, guggul and inositol is a nice bonus. Expiration is two years out.

This is Phytosterol Essentials supplement from essentialMD brand. The bottle has 90 capsules which will last a month. The supplement contains all natural ingredients like Apple Pectin, Gugul, Inositol, Phytosterols, and flavanoids. I like that this is made in the USA.

I have recently added plant sterols to my vitamin regimen in case I’m missing something from my diet. This is my 3rd go around and haven’t really noticed any change or difference with anything.They’re worth a try.

Just As Good As Other Brands
I’ve always used plant steriles. Usually take one just as I’m eating dinner or just after or before dinner. The capsule size is the same size as other brands. I buy. The ingredients in it are just as comparable to other brands that I use. Just the price is a lot more affordable than other name brands. You get a good amount for the price in the bottle.

After being diagnosed with high cholesterol, my nutritionist told me about plant sterols and stanols. I’d never heard of these before, and was interested in learning more. This product has 3 types of sterols. Unfortunately the serving size is 3 capsules, and the package contains 60, so this is just a 20 day supply. I won’t be tested again for 2 months, but hoping this makes a difference!

The serving size for this plant sterol supplement is 3 pills. They are easy to take. They have no aftertaste. Will monitor to see how it impacts my cholesterol levels.

It came nicely and securely packaged, with both a plastic security portion on the lid, and additional foil security barrier on the opening.This is priced comparably to other plant-based sterol supplements. $19.99 seems cheap, but as you’re only getting 60 pills,It’s confusing that you only get 60 pills, that the bottle claims you have 30 days of supplement, but then a serving size is 3 pills. For 3 pills per day, you should get 90 days. Or the instructions should say a serving size is 2 pills, not 3. Either way, that’s a terrible typo to have on a label of a nutritional supplement (which, you know, you’re INGESTING).The pills are near-flavorless and easy to swallow. The supplement has no negative effects on my digestion or how I feel. I’ll have to wait very long term (as with many supplements) to determine if there is any efficacy.The dosage amount typo/inaccuracy is both confusing and frustrating. I think it’s critical to have that correct on the label, rather than some other acceptable typos. Given that, I will likely look to other, more well-known brands for this supplement in the future.
