Love this. It’s like dessert. So much better than the pills.

It’s a vitamin
Honestly, not much to say about these, **but that’s exactly what a good review should be for a vitamin.** They came properly sealed, no moisture in the packaging, they smell like NORMAL vitamins (for those of you complaining about the smell…yes. Prenatal vitamins tend to be stinky.) They go down easy and I don’t burp them up all day long! The perfect addition to your morning routine whether you’re truly prenatal or in your first trimester.

Not nausea friendly
Not nausea friendly, tasted good though if you’re not that nauseous

Vanilla Flavour is a Downside
The vanilla flavour is a downside for the first trimester, I haven’t had much nausea but every time I smell the vanilla powder or even think about drinking it I get nausea. I would have preferred to order the vitamin pack.

Flavorful
Taste is way too strong, not good for morning sickness

What’s in it?!?What’s in it?!?
UPDATE***It turns out you need to peel back the label – not totally remove the label – in order to see the ingredients listed on the back of the label. I had peeled off the entire label (where the label says “peel here” and saw nothing.Originally I deducted 3 stars for the lack of ingredients and now I have deducted only one for the two additional bits of product feedback: there is no indication of cGMP or third party testing on the label and the small tub arrived barely half full. Received seller feedback that this will be taken into consideration for improving the product. That tells me some one actually cares about making this product as good as possible and it makes me feel better about using it.The light vanilla flavor is sweet and I’ve tried it as a creamer in coffee (yummy) and in my smoothie (double yummy)!Look forward to see this product improve in the future with better labeling and more product in the tub – in the meantime I am using it with more confidence that it is good quality and the ingredients are decent; they don’t upset my stomach or cause nausea, and it’s only 5 calories per serving.ORIGINAL REVIEWHad high hopes for this Perelel prenatal powder as the tag line is “made clean in the USA”. It’s manufactured in the USA from globally sourced ingredients, according to the label. I’m a glass half full kind of gal and when a product doesn’t meet my expectations, you can be sure I have given it the benefit of the doubt and it failed.Speaking of the label …. It seems they forgot something – the ingredients!Ingredients are super important to me as I am not the most trusting person when it comes to supplements – transparency, quality, and origin (where it is made) are important. At least there is an expiration date a lot number along with the address and phone for Perelel – but no cGMP, FDA facility, organic or third party certifications. That is usually what I look for. One of the photos blocks out the email address / UPC code on the label to comply with Amazon community review guidelines. The contents settled a lot – and it’s a very small tub – with only half the tub filled. This product comes with a small scoop (see photo). I cannot attest to the taste as I am not sure about the ingredients and prenatal health means taking care of what you put into your body!Pretty disappointed and hope this review + photos help improve the product as well as help you decide if this is the right prenatal vitamins powder for you. Here’s to your health and healthy baby!
