Honeybee propolis is a sticky resin that honeybees make and use to seal cracks or air-leaks in their hive. It is reported to be nutrient rich and full of antioxidants.These capsules are made to take whole and then dissolve in your stomach. If you have trouble swallowing pills, this might prove difficult for you as they are fairly large capsules. They go down smoothly with water. There is a very faint taste that is really more of a dry powdery smell than anything. It is very faint and not a problem for me at all. The effectiveness of taking these propolis capsules will take time to measure, but many have sworn that honeybee propolis is a great addition to your diet as an aid in immunity, healing, and overall general health.The one caution I would offer, in addition to the difficulty for those who can’t swallow pills, is that you consider any allergies you may have. I’ve taken plenty of this company’s supplements, and I say this with every review now: they have an email and address, but no website. So there’s a little less transparency, and we’re having to trust what they say is true on the bottle and in the description.THAT SAID, if all is true, I’ve found this to be a quality supplement. No issues w/stomach. GREAT value for the money. Easy to swallow. As with any supplement, it can take a while to do what it’s supposed to do. For Bee Propolis the benefits are supposed to be for immune support. Good so far! I’ll update as needed.
