I’ve done this before with other supplement companies and received substantive answers indicating whether a product did or did not contain strawberry. Nutricost did not live up to that expectation. Four days later I received a rather unhelpful reply stating that federal law only requires them to track a small number of allergens, that strawberry was not one of them, and that they had no information for me. They suggested that I simply not use the product.From a customer service standpoint, I think that was a particularly bad response, and from a product manufacturer, I found it irresponsible. My recommendation is not only that I should not use this product, but that no one should. Companies that are this unhelpful about ingredient questions should not get anyone’s business.Have a nice day, Nutricost. Comes in a standard tub, I think the 500 gram size is probably optimal as it contains a significant amount of creatine but not enough for it to get clumpy or start going stale through normal use. This version has slightly fewer doses per container due to the inclusion of some other flavor ingredients – 72 instead of the normal 90-100.The powder is a pale pink that dissolves easily and rapidly and creates a dark pink, light red liquid that tastes generally juicy. It’s not quite as good as a name brand red juice drink but it tastes like maybe an off brand juice drink, like it’s lacking a little acidity or something? It’s hard for me to put my finger on. Maybe my affinity for cherry is just less than I imagined?The scoop, for me, was hidden really far towards the bottom of the container. Usually they’re placed somewhere within the top inch or two but this one was way towards the bottom. I thought It may have come separate and I simply misplaced it until I tried looking around in the powder with a fork. The scoop looks considerably larger than a normal creatine scoop, likely to accommodate the additional volume per dose because of the other ingredients.The flavor for me is less than optimal, although still pleasant. Creatine is great, monohydrate is the gold standard form and it is very well studied, I’ve been playing with higher doses to explore some of the potential cognitive benefits. Lowkey was hoping it would come with a legacy video game though.

The powder mixes into water quickly with a few shakes, and I have not had to deal with dry clumps at the bottom of the glass. Tastes good, but too sweet and doesn’t mix easily
This is a 500 gram twist top container of Creatine Monohydrate in Red Alert flavor, from Nutricost. It arrived fresh and factory sealed. When I opened my container, despite the factory seal being fully intact, and despite having a desiccant pack in it, the contents of mine was clumpy and stuck together. I had to work at it to scoop out the specified amount. I first tried following the instructions and using 10 oz of water. I used an electric frother to mix it, which is what I always use for drink powders. In this case though, I mixed for over a minute, and it still was not fully dissolved. I ended up giving up on dissolving the last little bit. I took a drink and even though I normally like these types of drinks to be strongly flavored, this was much too sweet. I added more water to make it 16 oz and it was still pretty sweet. The flavor was pretty tasty, but just too sweet for me, and I really wish it had dissolved fully and not been clumpy in the container. I’m not sure why mine is clumpy, but I do see from other reviews here that most people did not have that issue. I like the Nutricost brand and feel they are a trustworthy company, so I do trust that this is a quality product. At the current price of $23.95 for the 500 gram, 72 serving container, I think this is a pretty good value.

With all things I put into your body, I want confidence it’s not going to do me any harm and given this is a reputable brand in Nutricost with 3rd party testing and Made in the USA, I have that. This will be my first time taking their creatine and this one is flavored for those who want to just take creatine and not have to deal w/ the less than pleasant taste of it and just water. Ingredients-wise, most things looks fine, but they do use Sucralose as a sweetener to keep the carbs to near 0, which has some potential side effects so I would normally prefer Stevia/Monkfruit.It mixed easily with a few shakes of the bottle and taste-wise it tasted pretty good at first, I also realized how sweet it is. I’ve had to add more water than I’m used to dilute the flavoring and even after drinking enough of it, it starts to leave a sweet aftertaste in your mouth. Given how sweet it is, I also find that if you want to go for the 10g (becoming a popular trend), it’s quite a bit to drink to get that 10g so you may be limited on double-upping without investing in drinking a lot of liquid. Also having just a quick “shot” of creatine with some water isn’t an option for me given that you need so much liquid to dilute the flavor properly.If you can handle sweeter drinks and just need 5g of creatine, this can work for you well. For me, if I want to do this, I have to mix 5g of unflavored creatine w/ 5g of this creatine and loads of water. I recommend to Nutricost to cut the sucralose by half or at least a third.Update: When I got closer to the bottom, the opening was too small for me to fit my hand and use the scooper to get more of it. At this point, this was the straw that broke the camel’s back and I stopped using the product having gotten sick of the overly sweet flavoring.

This creatine supplement comes in a sturdy container with a screw lid. Shelf life is about three years, which is pretty good. I like that it’s vegan, as confirmed by the seal printed on the label.The quality is great. It’s a pale pink powder that dissolves easily in water when stirred with just a spoon (as opposed to a milk frother). I dissolved the recommended amount in a glass of water and the color turned deep red. The taste hit me like a truck—strong Hawaiian Punch-like, knock-off Kool-Aid flavor. I personally didn’t like it, but I think plenty of people would. The concentration is such that you could easily put it in a big water bottle and sip it throughout the day.It was effective. I haven’t had creatine in a while, and I very quickly started feeling the usual effects it has on me—the dry mouth and eyes, feeling thirsty, and such.Overall, I’m very happy with the product. The flavor’s a matter of taste. I wouldn’t use it for loading due to the potency of it and the sugar substitute, but it would be great for maintenance.
