I started looking for powdered calcium/magnesium because of a friend’s advice due to sleeping trouble. This product hasn’t helped me with that, but I have seen and heard that others have had great luck with it. I still use it and plan on continuing to purchase it as an easy way to get absorbable calcium. I mix it with orange juice in the mornings. It mixes pretty well and I can’t taste anything other than juice. Very convenient and healthy and economical way to get my calcium and magnesium for the day!

Sour taste that I didn’t anticipate (bought to make homemade toothpaste)
I know this is just due to the purposes for which I bought this, but just wanted to write this up in case it would help others. I bought this since it was linked to several sites showing how to make homemade remineralizing toothpaste. It wasn’t until after I tasted it that I realized it fizzles and has a surprisingly very sour taste that I did some research and found out there are 2 kinds of calcium powder, and that this is the sour kind, which is not so pleasant in a toothpaste formulation. Not sure why those blogs linked to this kind of calcium powder? Wish I knew this so I could’ve gotten the other calcium powder, as I also worry about whether the sourness means higher acidity which means not so good for tooth enamel? Anyways, haven’t used it again since that first time, will do more research.

Neck, shoulder & lower back pain is gone!
I didn’t realize how effective this was until I had taken it for two months solid and then missed two days. I used to have absolutely horrible neck, shoulder and back pain, due in part to physical work/exhaustion, part to a slight curve in my spine. I take a teaspoon every morning in my orange juice, dissolves and tastes just fine. The difference it makes in my body is just outstanding! I can be on my feel working all day long, when without this, I am so sore and fatigued halfway thru the day. Esp amazing on the lower back pain… Try it!

This powder is great I put it in my smoothies or just drink it with some water. I like to take my minerals at night because magnesium is essential for relaxing the muscles as well as many other benefits this is Magnesium calcium and vitamin D3 I highly recommend …And if you don’t like to take pills it’s perfect!!! and I don’t mind the taste just mixing it with water just kind of tastes milky.. many people don’t even realize they’re deficient in magnesium more so than calcium. There’s plenty of great videos on YouTube or just use Google and see if you have any of these symptoms of low magnesium or research benefits of supplementation for your health..

Convenience of a powder
This product is for my adult daughter who does not swallow pills or capsules. This is the perfect way to give her the calcium and vitamin D that she needs. I mix it in yogurt and she’s ready to go. Great product.

When you have to have it NOW!
We have been using the NOW brand of the calcium and magnesium powder with vitamin D probably for more than 8 years. My wife noticed that with the birth of our third child, that her teeth were having issues with more cavities than she had ever had in her life, and so she started taking this in the hope that it would help. It has, and her teeth have now become more normal with fewer issues again. We attribute a lot of it to this one supplement!When we take it, we like to mix it with a little fruit juice to help it be more palatable. There is a bit of grit at the end, but that is to be expected of a powdered mineral combination.When we started using it, we started slowly and with small amounts so that it wouldn’t have the effect of a laxative (probably half a teaspoon or less) and went from there, increasing the amount to tolerable levels.My wife gets checkups regularly, and has never had an issue with these two minerals being low once she started taking them.We believe that if you have to get them, you really have to get them NOW!

Nice quality, but rethink where you get your calcium and magnesium
I used a bottle of this but I switched to getting my calcium from coconut milk and magnesium from magnesium taurate. Can’t really recommend this product because it fixes the ratio of calcium and magnesium, plus magnesium citrate is not what I want to use as my magnesium supplement. Kind of expensive for what you get, especially when you can independently source the benefits so easily and cheaply.
