So far I’m very pleased with this nettle root extract.For the past year I’ve begun to notice quite an excess of hair shedding which, alarmed me into doing extensive research online into what could be causing it, and what I can do to reduce/eliminate it. Well I reached the conclusion that my shedding was due to a high DHT production from an enlarged prostate. Being a young man I wondered, How could this be happening? Well with further research I realized It was because of an overindulging of a very common male habit. Unfortunately this which I concluded is seldom considered a reason but, after about 2 months of quitting the habit, taking nettle root and saw palmetto 2x a day plus a couple of diet tweaks. My shedding reduced about 80% Yes in my case it’s very possibly a HUGE contributing factor and also another benefit I received from nettle root is my sneeze attacks from seasonal allergies are completely non existent now.Please people doctors feed on our sickness, and ignorance on how we can naturally heal our bodies, as quoted from a few doctors and pharmacist I questioned “DO NOT TAKE HERBS” please lets get informed on the alternatives so we can live strong healthy lives.

If you’re worried about the estrogen effects of this supplement (see other posts) it would be wise to take it with an aromatase blocker, to stop testosterone from converting to estrogen.Update 10/9/13Blood testing before and after one week of heavy supplementation (2 capsules, 3 times per day) showed no beneficial effects on testosterone, free testosterone, or estradiol. It may have lowered SHBG. It appears to have raised DHEA-S. Anecdotally, I did not notice any sexual effects during the testing period. Nettle is in all hair products so, I have an idea?…
I’m a black woman and I took this vitamin because I had severe itching and I also noticed that Nettle is in every hair product. Every time I read the label of a hair product, Nettle was one of the ingredients. I believe in tackling a problem from the inside, so I decided to start taking this vitamin. ….Months later, it’s wonderful!!! I cannot remember the last time I scratched the top of my head. Plus I take other vitamins as well, but I honestly think this Nettle Root has helped me plenty. I also take Flaxseed Oil in a vitamin form and that too has helped with the itching. I really think I have some form of alopecia (sp?) but even when I was getting perms, the top of my head would itch. Then, after I went natural, my head still itched. I first tried Nettle Tea bags and tried to drink some tea but the tea was sorta bland so then I started taking the vitamin form and it’s a GOD sent. My head still itches every blue moon but no where near as often as in the past. I would recommend it to anyone who has the same hair issues I had.

i bought this product for my dad and he loves it. he is able to swallow it easily. he doesn’t mind the taste of it. the strength is good. he has pain so i think this helps with it. he feels better taking it and we haven’t noticed any side effects from it and he has told his doctors about it. the ingredients are good in it. hopefully he has pain relief. yes.
