Excellent value for my son with ADHD
These are excellent. My middle son has ADHD and I am using this in combination with his regular medicine. They are still too big for him to swallow, he can choke them down if he has to, but since they are strawberry he can just chew them up and spit out the cap, which is what he usually does. I bought this because it had the max dose recommended for kids, (about half the adult daily dose). The kids branded product however, had the requirement of taking multiple pills per day to get up to this dose, but cost the same and would not have lasted him as long. If you are buying these for the same reason be sure to compare the price between this one and the one branded for kids, and the recommended dosages of both – this one will last you much longer. Buying this version instead of the “kids” version saved me a whole lot of money while still getting him the vitamins he needs.As far as his behavior on these while taking them in conjunction with his meds, he has not been on them long enough for me to tell a difference (only a couple of days). I will update my review after he’s taken these for at least a month.

Nothing fishy here
Nothing short of amazing. I missed one dose this week, and could immediately tell. The fog lifts, bringing with it sunny skies, as long as I remember to take them. As for those who are gluten free, this fish oil is for you.I have had to start taking them in the morning though, because they tend to cause heart burn and acid reflux if I take them at bedtime. The strawberry flavor makes taking these a much better experience.

Well, while these are quite a bit smaller than normal fish oil pills, I wouldn’t exactly call them mini. They’re not as long as other pills, but they’re quite round and bulbous. Despite this, I’m able to swallow them without too much trouble, so I’m not going to complain too much! I’ve had a few little burps after taking them, but the scent/flavor is 100% strawberry, so again, I’m not going to complain too much. Also, taking the pills with food seems to really help the burp situation for me personally. Super happy about my purchase because now I can actually choke down the fish oil my doctors have been bugging me about for years.

Has worked well for 9 year old with ADHD
Have seen great results giving these to a 9 year-old boy with ADHD. We have seen a significant improvement in his physical fidgeting, and attention span. Still a challenge that we work on, but at least these provide some natural help. We give him two of the Omega 3 minis each morning. I do want to note that we are giving these to a child who is the height and weight of a 12 year old (weighs around 90 pounds.) So I’m not sure whether the dosage is appropriate for a smaller 9 year old. I do know that the child omega supplements, even from Nordic naturals, didn’t seem to have a high enough concentration of Omegas. And horrifyingly enough, some brands are in gummy form which is not something I want to give a kid who can’t handle sugar right before they go to school.

Great small fish oil caps
I use this oil every day. I used to take one flaxseed “horse pill”, and one Nature Made Omega 3-6-9 (another “horse pill’.’) However, I found that the Nature Made didn’t contain a detailed breakdown of EPA and DHA and the omega 3 wasn’t in the triglyceride form.After much research, we switched to the Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 2X mini strawberry fish oil. They do break down the Omega 3 into EPA and DHA forms on the label. The batch we received was fresh (exp date 07/21) and had no fish oil smell whatsoever. The only drawback is that you need to take two pills per day. (They are small, so that’s not an issue.) Two pills will provide you 1120mg of Omega 3’s per day, which should be more than enough. The company also tests each batch for impurities (such as heavy metals) and gives a batch code in case you want a detailed report for your batch. No fish oil “burps” either.They’re not “cheap.” However, you get quality for your money. So far (after one week), I am very satisfied.I’ll update this review if anything changes. But I don’t expect that.

Excellent omega-3 ratio
I was trying to find the supplement which gave me all of the EPA and DHA I wanted with the least calories, so I painstakingly put 92 supplements on Amazon into a complex spreadsheet. Yes, I’m weird! This supplement was in the top 5. I chose this one over the other 4 because the other 4 were from no-name brands which I don’t trust. This has a pleasant strawberry smell, and I don’t get any burps at all from it.You need all three of ALA, EPA, and DHA omega-3 fatty acids, but a dietary reference intake (DRI) is only set for ALA because your body can, albeit inefficiently, convert ALA to EPA and DHA. Using conservative estimates from the limited research I could find, I estimated that the 1.6g DRI for ALA would be converted to about 99mg of DHA and 231mg of EPA. Furthermore, I believe that the 1.6g DRI for ALA is so high only so that you get enough DHA/EPA from conversion, and only a small amount of ALA is actually itself required. Since I eat almost no DHA/EPA but do eat some ALA, my goal was to get 99mg of DHA and 231mg of EPA in the fewest calories.My spreadsheet took into account the fact that excess DHA can be converted by your body to EPA at an efficiency of about 7.4%, and it took into account the fact that it’s not always required to take exactly the serving size listed on the bottle. One softgel (half a serving) of this supplement satisfies my goal in only 7 calories, which is better than 86 other supplements in my spreadsheet. The minimum calories to meet my goal among all supplements I surveyed was 5 calories, and the median was 15. As mentioned, I chose this supplement over a few others with equal or less calories because I didn’t trust those others.

Easiest fish oil to swallow
These are the most compact fish oil pills I have ever come across, which makes them much easier for me to swallow. The strawberry flavor is fine but unnecessary in my opinion.I do not find that these trigger any sort of burping or fishy taste.
