High DHA omega 3 product from a brand I can trust.
I recently first heard about MAV Nutrition fish oil products, and am glad to know about another brand I can trust for a clean, good quality product. Their DHA Ultra Omega 3 Fish oil has 1414 mg of omega 3 fatty acids in the 2 softgel serving. It provides a high, 1010 mg. of DHA, and 202 mg. EPA. Both in triglyceride form, from skipjack, yellowfin, anchovy, sardine, mackerel and tuna, which they state are sustainably sourced. They state that it is manufactured in a GMP certified facility and is 3rd party tested, without proving specifics. There are 60 lemon flavored softgels per bottle, providing a 30 day supply. Based on my experience with another MAC Nutrition fish oil product, I believe this product is similarly a good quality product I can rely on to provide a clean, high EFA supplement.

Definitely one of the better omega-3 supplements I’ve tried.
I’ve been taking the DHA Ultra 1,010MG Omega-3 Fish Oil for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with it. The capsules are surprisingly small for such a high-strength formula, which makes them super easy to swallow, a big plus since I’ve had trouble with large fish oil pills in the past. There’s no fishy aftertaste at all, and I like that it’s third-party tested and sustainably sourced, so I know I’m getting a clean product. I mainly take it for brain and focus support, and I do feel a bit more clear-headed and less mentally foggy throughout the day. It’s also nice knowing it’s gluten-free and high in DHA compared to many other brands. Definitely one of the better omega-3 supplements I’ve tried.

So far so good. I waited awhile before I posted a review as I wanted to make sure there wasn’t an issue that popped up after I made my review. So far these have been working great and do not aggravate my sensitive stomach. They don’t have an extremely strong fishy smell that I’ve noticed from some other brands. They are a decent size, not tiny…. but they are easy to swallow with water. They taste fine and seem to be working. I will finish the bottle and if everything goes well – which I am sure it will – will continue taking these supplements.

Not bad for what it’s offering! Especially considering the price point.With that said I cannot give it five stars for the following reasons.Premium brands win on:IFOS certification (verified purity, oxidation, potency)Transparency (publish batch test results)Brand reputation (decades of trust)Bottom line: MAV Nutrition is a very good mid-tier product. Not the absolute top-tier (Nordic Naturals, Carlson), but WAY better than cheap drugstore fish oil, and excellent value for the quality.With that said what makes this product stand out against the top tier products is DHA!!One dose is 1010mg! The top tier brands is half that so you’d need to dbl the dose which means you’d need to double the purchase to get the serving size per container.Its a trade off, the transparency and iso cert for the DHA level you’ll actually need for brain support at dbl the expense or MAV Nutrition that doesn’t offer that at this entry point.🤷🏽Its really one of those Choose your own adventure choices.I’m going to continue with this product for the time being.
