Despite a change in diet and exercise, this is still a struggle for me. That’s why I ordered this NMN supplement. It’s a molecular precursor to NAD+ that’s derived from vitamin B3. There’s some research showing that supplemental NMN may help boost NAD+, helping to restore better function to multiple bodily systems.The bottle arrived fully sealed, with both an anti-tamper plastic wrap on the cap, and a foil seal glued to the top of the bottle. Upon first opening, everything looked good. All the capsules were intact, with no residue to be seen. An oxygen absorber was included. Smelling the contents, they have no objectionable odor. There was a slight scent that reminds me of whey, or milk, but it was very slight, and not rotten or unpleasant at all. There is essentially no taste to the capsules when taking them. The capsules are an easy to take size, not overly large, and they are easy to swallow.I’ve taken these for several weeks now, and honestly have seen no improvement in my condition. However, I expect any benefits to be incremental, and likely to only happen after extended use. In the same vein, I have had zero side effects: no nausea, no upset stomach, no heartburn, and so forth.I like that these are manufactured in a MGP facility, purity tested, and non-GMO. I also like that they are made in the USA, but it is stated that they are made for globally sourced ingredients. This tells me the stuff they’re made of doesn’t necessarily, or even likely come from, the United States. These capsules are simply assembled, bottled, and labeled here. That’s a little vague, and a potential area of concern. Another area of concern, is that, although it is stated that these are tested for purity, they are not independently tested by a third-party. Another potential area of concern, although with the rapidly increasing supplement market, this lack of third-party testing seems to be more and more common.Overall, my impression is that this is a good quality supplement, and I have experienced no negative effects. If the purity and content amounts are to be believed, without independent testing, these are a good value. I like that they are only one ingredient and don’t include other supplements, such as piperine or black pepper extract, as higher doses of those additions have been shown to potentially cause liver damage. I like these, and have ordered another bottle. Minus one star for lack of third-party testing. This is a very good price for a NMN supplement. It’s definitely a plus that it’s made in a GMP facility, and is purity, tested. It’s working for me, although, of course, you won’t see the long-term benefits from NAD for quite a while.Well, I’m not a big fan of taking multiple capsules of anything, I like the fact that the 1000mg total is in two capsules because it gives me the option of taking them at different times.In order to get five star from me, it would need to have some thing additional to help with absorption. Some other supplements add Black pepper extract, or are liposomal, or have special capsules that help everything passed through the digestive system. If it had any of these, then it would truly be five star and outstanding.It’s still better than I expected for this price, it’s just not much much better than I expected. I will definitely consider buying this again when this bottle is finished.
