Mouth stays fresh
I use these right after brushing my teeth. After a whole night of sleep, my mouth stays fresh which I really like. However, there is a bit of sourness on my tongue even though I brush it every night. The lozenge taste like a mix between mint and corn and is a bit gritty. The ingredients in there also make a good buffer. It contains a good amount of calcium, Q10, and xylitol.

Works–maybe too good!
Put a lozenge in my mouth at bedtime and in AM my tongue was so clean it looked liked I had already brushed my teeth and used a tongue scraper. Took my usual probiotic oral pill on empty stomach and about an hour later nature called urgently! I now take only 1/2 lozenge at bedtime as I think I may have had too much gut flora and the mouth treatment goes into your system also. So–ya it works but you may have to adjust your dose a little.

Be careful with disinfectant mouthwashes with this product!
The proper way to use this product is to eat your meal, brush your teeth, rinse and gargle with Listerine wait 5 or 10 minutes and then let this lozenge dissolve in your freshly cleaned mouth. Listerine will kill the bacteria in M-18 if you use Listerine afterwards.Only four stars because I haven’t be able to confirm any effect from it. I use it in a prophylactic manner.

smack the plaque back
I get a LOT of plaque! I’ve tried everything to get rid of it. I brush and floss, use an electronic toothbrush go to the periodontist. I’m very diligent but still the plaque comes back and quickly. I read a lot about trying to change the environment in your mouth to make it inhospitable to plaque and I don’t know why dentists aren’t doing more in this area. Dentistry really seems like a backward profession to me. Of all the many dentists I’ve been to not one of them is aware of or looking into this angle to reduce plaque. I’ve tried kelp pills on myself and on my dog (proden plaque off). They worked very well for my dog, but the both of us didn’t feel very well taking them. I studied more and learned that probiotics might help. This product does help. I’d say I have about a 30% improvement. I take 2 a day at night after I brush my teeth and before I go to bed. I was thinking I might see even more improvement if I take 4 a day (add 2 in the morning), but they are kind of expensive. I still might try it. I’ll let you know if I do. They taste very good too, almost a treat to take them. I hope there is more research done with probiotics and other alternatives by the professional dental community because I think this is a promising path.

Dusty, chalky, but hope they help.
These are very chalky and don’t taste great, but I’m hoping to have some good results. It’s hard to get 2 in per day as the instructions indicate, but I am doing my best. Will update if anything changes (obviously not with the taste or consistency, but oral health). I wish they could make these in a different format. I don’t think they should be called “lozenges”. That word makes me think of a hard, smooth product, not a dusty chalk bucket.

Tried these; didn’t work for me.
I’ve used this for a while now per the directions, before bedtime and after brushing. After swishing a tablet around for awhile, my teeth feel cleaner. But it’s short-lived. What I notice is that in the morning following using these, my teeth feel more “fuzzy” than if I don’t use them. This is the opposite of what I’d expect, and I don’t know the reason. If they’re doing good, I can’t see it or feel it, so I probably will not reorder.

I like them. Hopeful they help.
I like these. They appear to have good, helpful ingredients. Flavor is subtle, mint. Some say they are chalky but I’d say only a little bit if you let them sit on your tongue too long. If you let it dissolve a little swish and swallow and repeat, it doesn’t get chalky. It doesn’t bother me in any case. (I bought another kind (NOW) and they were not chalky and dissolved fast. I did not get the feeling they lasted long enough nor reached all areas of my mouth.) As I have a severe case of periodontal disease, I won’t know for a while if they are helping but I am hopeful they will. They dissolve slowly so be prepared. I take one before my 30 min walk and by the time I get home, it is gone.
