Nice way to get extra vit. C

This powder is basically dried cherry ground up into a powder, and that’s what it tastes like: powdery and a bit tart. You get a plastic measuring spoon if you want to take their recommended dose. I’ve just been putting the powder directly in my mouth, but it probably mixes into liquids about as well as most food powders. I appreciate that this is USDA organic and is pure cherry powder.

Good way to get Vitamin C

When I get up, I drink a glass of water with a measuring spoon of this mixed into it. I then take L-Lysine after that because Linus Pauling said that it helps your body better absorb Vitamin C. I think this powder is fine. I stir it up, and it doesn’t clump on the bottom. Of course, I drink the water quickly. I’m not letting it sit a long time. I haven’t always taken this product daily, but I have started doing that because there are studies that have found that Vitamin C decreases heart palpitations, which I sometimes get. One bag lasts a long time. If it starts to clump in the pouch, you can put the product in a glass jar. If that starts to clump, you can add water to it. But this didn’t happen to me until I had the product for a long time.

What is Vitamin C Complex vs Ascorbic Acid? I’m glad you asked!

Studies have shown that the body will absorb close to 100% of the vitamin C complex that comes from a natural fruit like Acerola, whereas barely 10% of the chemically synthesized ascorbic acid–made from GMO corn syrup and hydrochloric acid–is absorbed.  Yuck!  Though they have tried, scientists have not been able to synthesize in laboratories the special kind of energy that makes up a natural fruit like acerola or chili peppers.   Acerola powder is known for its exceptionally high Vitamin C content, often containing 50 to 100 times more than oranges or lemons.  I take about half a teaspoon of the powder after every meal. From the internet, Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.  It plays a vital role in supporting a healthy immune system, and is essential for collagen synthesis, which is important for skin health and wound healing.  Good Health is directly related to good life style–especially good nutrition, exercise, and good weight.

    Clumpy

This is highly rated on consumer lab so I gave it a try. I have always supplemented vitamin C so I can’t speak on whether or not it works…I didn’t get sick while using. I took one star off because it is kind of sticky and does not dissolve well in my protein drink and it quite tart. I prefer capsule form for ease of use.

My Kids Don’t Mind the Taste

I usually mix this acerola powder with honey and give a spoonful to my family. My kids, who are 4 and 7, take it easily, and it’s been a simple way for us to support our routine during the winter months.

    Real Vitamin C, WOW

Boy what a difference potent Vitamin C is for my body. Just great, came out of a viral infection just with this alone. Just mix in apple juice and leave out for 15 minutes and it will totally dissolve and taste just fine (for those who moan). Then because vitamin c is water soluble put in freg and drink x3, q 8 hours to gain health support.

    From nature

Great nature based organic way to take vitamin C. I mix it in my morning coffee.
