This vitamin D is exactly what my wife wanted. Easy to take gel caps with a potent dose of Vitamin D. This MD Prescriptives brand provides a good 5000 IU dose which is exactly what my wife wants in the winter when she does not get enough sun. This gel cap is easy to take and has give her no side effect at all taken on empty stomach or with meals or any time per day. Best of all, our whole family appreciates this is naturally sourced true natural vitamin D not the synthetic lab made vitamin D. Both may be good, but we are really happy to have natural products when we can get them.Our whole family is happy to have this high quality natural vitamin D to keep us healthy especially during winter months. High quality D3
My doc recommended years ago that I take 5000 IU of D3 a day along with calcium. While more expensive than my usual brand, MD Prescriptive looks to be a higher quality. Since it is 100% derived from lanolin, it is a natural vitamin D as opposed to synthetic (also known as D2).I do appreciate that there is a six-month supply in this bottle so I’d only have to think about buying more twice a year. As mentioned above, I have been taking D3 daily for years so I can’t really tell if there’s any difference in my health, but other reviewers mentioned that they noticed an improvement in how they felt since taking MD Prescriptive. I hope I will as well!

Paying more for a product doesn’t make it better
This D3 is fairly pricey for being only that. My current product provides the same 125mcg of D3 along with some K2, in a softgel that’s a quarter the size, and one seventh the price!! And just so everyone knows, D3 is most often derived from LANOLIN because that’s the least expensive method to make it – so no big wow about stating this on the bottle.This product will not likely ever be a fave for me, because I’m rather cost-conscious about most things. This seller is relying on a name brand to rake in their money, but not providing anything close to a good deal for their customers. My distaste for this practice, causes me to give them a 2.7 rating, based solely on the price they’re charging us.

Oh boy, this product is one of the only things I regret ordering.Let’s start with the fact that the vitamin D comes from lanolin, the cheap option of getting vitamin D. Usually it comes from fish oil, which lends to easier absorption, instead for some reason this company opted for lanolin.The second part that left me completely grossed out is that they also use bovine gelatin!I’m so disgusted, not only that they use these things but then label it as vegetarian!! So it’s cheaply made, it’s not organic, it’s not vegetarian, it’s not cruelty free- there are better options out there for your body, don’t sell yourself short with this product.

Looks like the quality of this product is there! All natural, non-GMO and manufactured in USA.180 gelcaps come in this bottle. The suggested serving is 1 capsule per day so it’s a 6 month supply which seems like a pretty good value for the price.They aren’t super small or big and they are easy to swallow for me. No taste or upset stomach but I do take with food.The safflower oil in the ingredients is known to help the body absorb the nutrients D3 offers.

This is my review for MD Prescriptives Vitamin D3 180 Gelcaps, Non GMO Vegetarian Softgels, 125 mcg (5,000 IU).This Vitamin D3 by MD Prescriptives is a super buy. This bottle holds 180 gelcaps and you only need 1 a day so that means this bottle will last 6 months! I really like that this bottle of D3 is in dark colored glass. That will keep it fresher than plastic. This D3 is made from Lanolin. From what I learned both D3 from lanolin and Fish oil are equally effective although some people may have an allergy to wool. (FYI Lanolin is from sheep as is wool.). Also these are not vegetarian. The capsules are made with Bovine gelatin. The label is very transparent. They state that these pills are made in a cGMP facility, Ther are no artificial sweeteners. They are non-GMO and 3rd party lab tested. MD Prescriptives also has Certificates of analysis on all their products. Their contact information with email and phone numbers are available including options to “Chat” , I especially liked the “About Us” story. These introductions to the founders and their teams help me feel like I can trust the safety and quality of their products. I highly recommend MD. Prescriptives.

Very good product from a trusted brand.I love that this Vitamin D3 is completely natural and derived from lanolin, which is a great source.
