This seems like a very high-quality product. Magnesium is important for me because I have chronic muscle spasms, and magnesium helps relieve that. I appreciate that this has all seven forms of magnesium so that we can get maximum absorption and benefits of magnesium, but it also has the addition of vitamin B6 and manganese. I’m not sure I need those since I’m taking other vitamins and watching my diet carefully, but apparently they help with absorption.It has a QR code on the bottle so you can check out the full report of the supplement, which is excellent. I love the transparency on the label too; it doesn’t just say “proprietary blend.” It tells you what’s in there.It is quite pricey, so I looked up why it was so much more expensive than others, and learned that some of these (especially sucrosomial magnesium and magnesium orotate) are considerably more expensive raw ingredients than plain magnesium oxide or citrate.I like that it’s made in smaller batches from a company in the UK. I like that it’s easy on my digestive system since I’m allergic to just about everything. I have to be very careful with my supplements, and this one is not irritating me, so that’s great. I can’t see any reason to deduct stars except for maybe the price, but it is exactly what it promises to be, no surprises, and it’s a high-quality product. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This one takes that concept seriously. Magnesium Seven combines seven different forms…glycinate, orotate, taurate, lactate, malate, citrate and Sucrosomial magnesium. And honestly, I like the variety, but what I appreciate even more is that the company actually tells you how much of each form you’re getting. That last part matters.Each four capsule serving provides 329 mg of elemental magnesium, with 47 mg coming from each of the seven forms. It also includes 2 mg of vitamin B6 and 1 mg of manganese. So, when the bottle says seven forms, you’re not left wondering how much of each one is actually in there.After seeing enough proprietary blends, I have developed a healthy suspicion of anything that basically says, “Trust us, it’s in there somewhere.” I much prefer a label that lets me see exactly what I’m getting.The seven forms are interesting because they each have somewhat different characteristics. Glycinate is probably the form most people recognize for relaxation and sleep, citrate is commonly used in magnesium products for its digestive properties, malate is often included in formulas aimed at energy and muscle support, and the other forms give this formula a broader approach.I’m also impressed that the company publishes independent testing. Their posted Eurofins test for one batch measured 354 mg of magnesium per serving compared with the 329 mg listed on the label, and the microbiological testing passed as well. This product isn’t bad, in fact, if I divorce myself from the price, it’s quite good. The pills themselves strike me as high quality. You get seven forms of magnesium instead of 1-5 forms. I feel like I’m getting decent impact from these pills, but they have a huge flaw: the price. This not cheap by any stretch. It feels like a 5/5 product with a, generously given, 3/5 price. I’ll combine the two and call this 4/5.So before we begin, this product seemingly has two names. I double checked the ingredient list and the only difference is the bottle and the name. Your product will not say or look like the “Magnesium Seven” bottle you see on the page. It will come looking like the “Magnesium Complex Advance” bottle in my pictures. They are the same product, but the company is doing themselves a disservice by not updating the page. People will rightfully be suspicious and may not double check the ingredients as I did and just assume they got duped.So now the product itself. You get seven forms of magnesium at a dose of 4 pills a day. They are more laborious to take at 4 a day, but they wont chance choking you like so many other big pills. I have taken magnesium for a while now and this product feels mildly boosted compared to the others. My sleeping is slightly more restful than before. Now that being said, like the other magnesium products I’ve taken, I did not notice any change in my energy, bone health, muscle function, or cardiovascular system. I do not have any problems in those areas and that may be why. My only issue is bad sleep.So what’s their issue? It’s 45 USD as of the time of writing. What does this mean? It means you’re paying around 1.48 USD a day to take these pills. That’s a lot and as far as the magnesium market goes, that’s the highest cost I’ve seen. Is it high quality? Sure. Is it worth that much? To me, no, it’s not.So on a whole this product is good, but I can’t cleanly recommend it despite my good score. If you are one of the lucky ones with lots of money to spend, sure, this is a good choice, but for the majority of customers out there I can’t recommend it.

That being said, the amount of magnesium in that full serving is higher than what you often find in a lot of magnesium supplements. Most magnesium supplements that I have taken provide around 100mg-150mg per serving. That dosage has always been effective for me, so I have actually only been taking 2 of these capsules at a time. That 165mg serving is plenty effective for me.Magnesium has a lot of health benefits, but the main reason I take it is to help a bit with stress and anxiety. It also helps to normalize my sleep pattern at night. Taking two of these capsules has proven to be working well for me, so this magnesium blend is definitely effective. Before I started taking magnesium a few years ago, I used to regularly get a cramp in my left calf muscle for some reason. That has since all but disappeared since I started taking magnesium, so that’s another benefit I’ve seen from it.These capsules are a good quality and are easy to swallow. They are made in the UK, and are third party tested according to the “Love Life Supplements” website. The $44.95 price tag stings a little, especially if you plan on taking the full 4-capsule serving. This product contains a selection of mostly organic magnesium salts, all of which are more bioavailable than the chloride/oxide/etc inorganic magnesium salts. The organic salts also have fewer side effects. I appreciate that this product is free of the stupidly high amounts of vitamin B6 that plague so many magnesium supplements.I have been taking a magnesium supplement before bedtime to alleviate overnight leg cramps. I used this product at half dosage (two capsules) for a couple days in place of my regular supplement. It seems to work just as well, though it requires 160mg of magnesium to accomplish this as opposed to taking one capsule (120mg) of my regular supplement. I’m sure this is due to my regular supplement containing the threonate salt, which is missing from this product’s formulation.This product is from a fully-transparent British company known for the quality of its products. If it contained the threonate salt I would consider using it regularly. It doesn’t, however, so I’ll continue using my regular supplement. This is a five star product for most people, and a four star product for me. It gets five stars because the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
