Worked Differently Than Other Magnesium Glycinate Supplements I’ve Tried
I’m giving this three stars because I think it’s a quality supplement, but my personal experience with it was disappointing. I went back and forth on how to rate this because my experience was very mixed.When I first started taking this magnesium glycinate, I actually liked it enough that I bought a couple of extra bottles while the price was so good. I appreciate that it provides 200 mg of elemental magnesium, comes in a large 240 capsule bottle, and is made in the USA. I also liked that it was gentle on my stomach and never caused any digestive issues.I took it nightly because magnesium glycinate is often recommended to support relaxation and better sleep. Unfortunately, after a while I began waking up with significant brain fog that lasted well into the following day. I can’t say with absolute certainty that this supplement was the cause because everyone’s body responds differently and there could have been other factors involved. However, after I stopped taking it, the brain fog cleared up, which was enough to make me hesitant to continue taking it.I want to be clear that this is only my personal experience. Many people may do very well with this formula, and I don’t think it’s a bad product. In fact, I liked it enough initially to purchase extra bottles before I noticed the issue. This simply turned out to be a supplement that didn’t agree with me.If you’re considering it, I think it’s a good value and worth trying, but I would pay attention to how you feel after taking it, especially if you’re sensitive to supplements. My experience may be unique, but I wanted to share it in case it helps someone else.

I swear by magnesium glycinate, just not 100% sold on this brand
I’ve used magnesium glycinate for over a year now. I used a brand that I bought in bulk from eBay a while back that lasted me a long time. That one seemed to work better than this one.I use magnesium glycinate to help me sleep at night. It definitely helps with that, I’ve just felt that the other brand had a stronger effect. I guess it depends on what you are getting these for if you’ll see the results you need. But definitely worth a shot for the price!

My husband and I both were initially taking Magnesium Glycinate to help with our getting a good night’s sleep, but when we started working out regularly we switched to a Magnesium blend with less Glycinate and smaller amounts of different types of Magnesium, but I was just not sleeping as well.We both wanted to go back to taking Magnesium Glycinate at night but I wanted to find one that was 3rd Party Lab tested and I came across a lower potency option by I LoveHealth and started taking it. I take other supplements by I Love Health because they offer a copy of their 3rd Party Lab Test COA report for all their supplements. The QR code to access the batch COA is right on the bottle. Providing their COA up front and stating their type of GMP Certification gives me confidence in the transparency of the company to provide a pure supplement.I didn’t know that they made a higher potency option, as we presently take their lower potency Magnesium, but we take more capsules to get our desired milligrams per day, so when I discovered this potent 1000 mg chelated option, I ordered it.Each of these capsules are a chelated 1000 mg. The capsules have no taste and I have no digestive upset even though I take them on an empty stomach before bed. I get to sleep more quickly and I sleep through the night.The bottle contains 240 capsules and even with my taking 2 per night, it will last 4 months, so the supplement is well priced for its potency, quality and quantity.I will work through the bottle and come back for an update, but for now for the transparency of the company to provide a link to their 3rd Party Lab Test COA, the chelation of the supplement that ensures ease of digestion and my improved sleep, verifying the supplement does what it is supposed to do, five stars.

I do believe this product is as described, although admittedly I have no means of verifying that myself. I appreciate the cGMP production facility and non-GMO, and they’re also vegan and gluten free for those that appreciate that.I’ve taken magnesium for years as some of the supplements I routinely take. These seem to work as well as other’s I’ve taken. The pills are slightly smaller than the previous ones I took, and they’re easy to swallow.The only negative item I’ll note is the description that states it is 1,000 MG. That’s the large number on the bottle, followed by a smaller “per serving” And that’s 1,000 mg to get you 200 mg of elemental magnesium, or 100 mg/capsule. This is a bit less that many other’s I’ve taken. Nothing wrong with the product, just understand what you’re getting.I’m not making any health claims as that’s for you and your doctor to discuss, but these seem as good as any I’ve purchased before. I am pleased with my purchase of these and can certainly recommend them.
