    I discovered arginine, ornithine and choline as a young athlete in the 70’s. Didn’t really know what amino acids were and whatever I could read I only found in muscle magazines. I believe the popular term now is Nitric Oxide. I was amazed to find that after a week of allowing my body to adjust to the intake I was able to lift heavier, increase my endurance and work out longer with less fatigue and I only took it a half hour prior to workouts. It worked well for me. Didn’t know if we had powders back then so intake was by pills (w/no food so your body could digest only the amino). The pills had very low milligram content so you had to take a number of them just to get 1 gram. The life extension powder gives me 3 grams with only a level spoonful. While my workouts are much toned down I enjoy the fact that I don’t need to take a bunch of pills. My sons have benefited from my experiences and I’ve witnessed their results.
