    Excellent Whole-Food Vitamin C Supplement

These Vitamin C capsules deliver a whole-food vitamin C supplement that sources its vitamin from a blend of organic, freeze-dried fruits. Each vegan-friendly capsule offers 130 mg of vitamin C derived from acerola, lemon, acai, maqui, wild blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry. It’s imported (packaged in the USA), USDA Organic, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, plant-based.This supplement uses freeze-dried fruits to provide vitamin C in a form that is as close to natural sources as possible. This approach ensures that the vitamin comes with the naturally occurring cofactors and phytonutrients found in these fruits, which may help enhance absorption and overall efficacy.Acerola: A well-known superfruit with one of the highest concentrations of natural vitamin C.Lemon: Offers citrus-derived vitamin C along with beneficial flavonoids.Acai & Maqui: These berries contribute antioxidants and polyphenols, supporting cellular defense.Wild Blueberry, Raspberry, and BlackBerry: These fruits not only supply vitamin C but also add to the antioxidant capacity, which may help combat free radicals.Vitamin C is essential for normal immune system function, and the natural, whole-food source in these capsules may provide additional nutritional benefits beyond isolated ascorbic acid. The blend of fruit-sourced nutrients can aid in enhancing the body’s antioxidant defenses, potentially reducing oxidative stress.Whole-food vitamin C is often reported to be gentler on the stomach compared to synthetic alternatives. The presence of naturally occurring bioflavonoids within these fruits may further improve the absorption and bioavailability of vitamin C, ensuring that more of the nutrient is effectively used by the body.

Perfect for when you are on the go.

A little bit less for your money vs the acerola powder itself, if we are just talking Vitamin C, but these are super convenient and contain other micro-nutrients from other fruits. Easy for those traveling or on the go. Looks great and was of high quality.

Definitely taste like freeze dried fruit

As other reviewers mentioned if you open the capsules up the taste is sour, kind of reminds me of the dust left over by freeze dried raspberries. I like sour flavors so I find this pleasant and it does seem as though the freeze dried claims are true. It does only say packaged in the USA, so ingredients are likely sourced from multiple places. These are a little on the pricier side, but overall I am happy with them, and when I started to get a sore throat they may have helped me prevent it from turning into a full on cold.I didn’t have any issues with broken capsules. Since these are the types of bags my mom uses to store freeze dried fruit, I suspect it was chosen for freshness; for some reason I think she’s mentioned glass jars don’t work as well.

    REAL vitamin C

I do not like the lab derived ( usually from Corn) ascorbic acid supplements. I am trying to make sure I get vitamin c as it’s crucial for so many physical processes in the body. This supplement smells amazing and if you let it dissolve in your mouth is delightfully fruity no complaints.

    Don’t work

Didn’t affect my vitamin c levels. Got a prescription and that worked

    Natural Vitamin C

I like the fact this is derived from organic fruit, and not synthetic.

Quality, certified organic w/ real fruit source of Vitamin C but package didn’t protect capsules

This package of high quality, whole food, certified organic Vitamin C has a total of 60 capsules (30–60-day supply). Each certified organic vegan pullulan capsule has130mg of vitamin C. It says it’s packaged in USA but does not provide the origin of the ingredients, so I’m guessing not all are grown in the USA but they have USDA certification. There is a Lot # & a best by date of 1/29/2027 printed on pack.I really value that this is made with an organic fruit blend (Acerola, Lemon, Acai, Maqui, Wild Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry) rather than a synthetic Vitamin C. I prefer this form of vitamin C.It’s an easy to seal pouch that probably keeps it fresher but unfortunately, it doesn’t preserve the integrity of the capsules. It’s likely responsible for the breakage/cracking of one of the capsules. This powder is all over the package & the capsules(more now than the initial photos). The powder has a slight sour taste which is fine for me but for some could be an issue, so just something to be noted & hope they will consider switching to a glass bottle instead.Overall, this ticks of boxes – I’m pleased that these are non-gmo, organic & real fruit source vitamin C, feel great taking them, just wish the packaging protected them better. It’s the only reason I rated it 4/5. Product-wise, it’s a 5.

Organic whole fruits based Vitamin C.

Koyah Fruit C capsules come in a nice resealable pouch. At first, I found it weird to have capsules in a pouch, but then I learned it has a 5 times lower carbon footprint than plastic and glass bottles and realized it is a more environmentally friendly approach. There are 60 capsules of 130 mg each, and the suggested dosage is one capsule once or twice per day, so a 1-2 month supply depending on the intake. These capsules of Vitamin C are a freeze-dried, whole foods-based formula. The capsules are an average size and easy to swallow. There is no weird aftertaste or burps experienced while taking these capsules. Also, no stomach issues or any digestive issues from these food-based vitamin C capsules. I take Vitamin C regularly for immunity and antioxidant support and am very happy with this brand.I have tried other products from the Koyah brand and am very happy with the results, and so are these Vitamin C capsules. These are USDA Organic, vegan, non-GMO, and packaged in the USA. There are no binders, additives, or preservatives, and no synthetic Vitamin C added either. It has a Fruit C blend of freeze-dried whole fruits like acerola, lemon, acai, maqui, wild blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry for maximum bioavailability.Overall, an excellent product at a great price.
