I ordered this collagen supplement intending to try it, but I am not comfortable consuming it based on the packaging and the limited documentation I received.The box I received included a California Proposition 65 warning stating that the product can expose consumers to chemicals including mercury. That is a serious thing to see on a daily-use supplement. The package also made broad beauty and wellness claims, including skin, nail, hair, immune system, vitality, and moisturizing support. At the same time, the label did not clearly identify the collagen source, at least not in a way that was obvious from the packaging.There were also several labeling issues that weakened my confidence. The Supplement Facts panel appeared to say “Low Molecular Collagen Pentides” instead of peptides, and the ingredient list included spelling errors such as “Crstalline Cellulose” and “Magenesium Sterate.” Typos alone do not prove a supplement is unsafe, but on an ingestible product they do make me look more carefully at quality control and U.S. label review.I contacted the seller to ask for documentation supporting the safety of the product and the basis for the mercury warning.
