This Water Flavoring Is Delicious
I feel like I drink a lot of water but my doctor is telling me I need to increase my water intake. She told me that I could use water flavorings if that would help me drink more. I mean, I can drink plain water, but after a bottle or two of it I feel like I have had enough. I am not a humongous fan of the blandness but I know water intake is a big deal. I have tried most of what’s available in my local grocery store, and have pretty much just been getting the same Crystal Lights and Mios for years. So with that in mind, I researched water flavorings online to see what else was out there. Turns out there are hundreds of varieties and flavors out there. After looking around for a while I found some I wanted to try, but settled on this variety pack of electrolyte powder flavors by GoodSense.Once it arrived, I could not wait to taste it. I immediately grabbed a cold water, took a gulf, and then added one of the strawberry flavor packets. I put the cap back on, and shook it up for about 10 seconds. I took that first sip and I was very impressed with the taste. This was one of the best flavored waters I have ever had in my life. I ended up drinking 4 bottles of water in an afternoon of work because of this flavoring. I am so totally satisfied and impressed with this flavor, and will be definitely asking my grocery store to start carrying it. It is really going to help me increase my water intake and I don’t think I will ever be dehydrated again. There are 8 packets in the box, and there are 2 of each of the flavors – apple, strawberry, grape, and fruit punch. The electrolytes help you get rehydrated quickly, similar to Pedialyte. Bottom line: this is a cheap and effective pack of electrolytes, but the flavors are uneven, and you need scissors to open.I picked up the GoodSense electrolyte powder variety pack because plain water gets boring, and I needed a way to stay hydrated without overpaying. At about a dollar per drink, the value is clear compared to name brands. Each packet mixes quickly in cold water with no clumping, and the sugar level is lower than other non-sugar-free but still noticeable. It does its job for hydration. I do need scissors for opening each time, which kind of bugs me.The flavors are mixed results. Fruit punch is fine, and strawberry has a more artificial edge, but probably the best for kids. Apple is ok, Grape I don’t love. The sweetness can feel strong if you stick with the eight ounces of water suggested, but using a bit more water balances it out. I go for a pint glass, and I think that makes a lot more sense than 8oz! None of the flavors left a salty or chalky aftertaste, which is a plus.Nutritionally, you get sodium, potassium, and chloride, but not zinc.Overall, this is an affordable and convenient option that works, especially for travel or hot days. It is not perfect, but at this price point, the performance outweighs the flaws.

We really enjoyed using these electrolyte powder packs. These were easy to use. Basically just pour it into a cup with some water and stir it up. These did not taste as salty as others I have tried. I could really taste every flavor and they didn’t taste super fake. I would say these are of high quality. I don’t think these boosted our energy. I would say the value is a little high so I probably would not purchase these again. I did not notice any health benefit when using this product though I did feel extra hydrated.
