A lot of extra stuff in these
First the good; easy to swallow, 1 soft-gel to dose, no aftertaste, no side effects or foul burps. Now what I don’t like; there are so many “other” ingredients in this supplement…corn starch, carrageenan, sorbitol, flavoring, sunflower oil…I don’t like supplements with extra fillers and flavorings (why!). Not something I will take going forward. At the current price it averages about $1 per pill (per day), so I guess on the more affordable side for omegas, for what that’s worth.

Excellent quality and source for omega fatty acids!
Wasn’t sure what to expect with this. But after trying it over about a week’s time, I really like these. As I looked it up, basically fish eat algae and this is where they get their omega-3 content. The algae is the source so you’re basically removing the middleman which is fish. Through this you’re getting your omega directly from the source.For myself, I really don’t want the oils. So this is a great option to avoid that. What I’ve noticed the most is that the effectiveness has been noticed in night vision clarity in my eyes being able to see better.A lot of the side effects that you have is minor they are with fish oil whether it’s burping or some other thing you don’t have it with this. You don’t even notice that you’ve had it outside of the effectiveness of it.On the cost, it is probably about the same as the fish oil and as I looked up this company they do. You have a lot of oversight to make sure the quality is good – coming from both inside and out.For these reasons, I give it a five star rating.

Decent option
Overall I think these are decent. The mg you are getting for both EPA and DNA seem to be within recommended levels. I am always a bit worried about buying from a 3rd party so I checked with the manufacturer directly and they confirmed the product I received was legitimate (see their response copied below). The price ($27) also appears to be within market standards.The only downside I would say, is that prior to taking these pills I took some from a competitor that had you swallowing 2 in a day, with similar amounts of DHA/EPA. This allowed me to try for better absorption by splitting it up, and made the pills smaller and easier to swallow. I wish these were the same, since they seem a bit big. No fish aftertaste; just mind the size and fillers
I switched to these to get my omega-3 without the fish burps, and that part holds up. No aftertaste, no repeat, nothing. You take one softgel a day and you’re done, which is about the easiest routine there is.They’re not small, though. These are big softgels, wider than the fish oil I used to take. I can still swallow them fine, but if you struggle with pills at all, that’s the thing to know going in. The other thing I noticed is the bottle carries a faint minty smell, and the occasional burp has a trace of it. Not unpleasant, just there.The formula is where I’m torn. The DHA and EPA come straight from algae, so you skip the ocean contaminants and the fishy taste entirely, and the amounts are stated plainly (300 mg EPA, 200 mg DHA per softgel). But the ingredient list has a lot of extras in it: cornstarch, carrageenan, sorbitol, natural flavor. For something that’s supposed to be clean, that’s a fair bit of filler, and I wish it weren’t there.At about $27 for a month’s worth, that’s roughly a dollar a day, which lands on the reasonable side for algae omegas. The brand has a long track record, so I don’t worry about potency.If you’re vegan or just can’t stomach fish oil, this is a solid pick. Just know the softgels are big and the formula isn’t as stripped-down as the label makes it sound.

Vegetarian-friendly Omega supplement
This supplement is produced by a well-respected company that has been in business for many years, so I feel confident about both the potency and safety. They contain 300 mg of EPA and 200mg of DHA, which is a solid, standard dosage for everyday maintenance. The capsules are quite large, but since they are softgels, they are not too difficult to swallow. I do notice a very subtle odor to the gels in the bottle….a slight minty scent that is not unpleasant. I’ve had no adverse stomach issues from using them, but I’ve had a few burps with that same trace of mint (again, not unpleasant). My only issue is with the many other ingredients included in the softgels, like cornstarch, carrageenan, sorbitol, natural flavor, etc.. Perhaps each has its reason or purpose for being in this formula, but still I wonder if so many fillers are really necessary.
