I got this for a family member that has a metabolism that’s faster than light. I needed to seriously increase protein and calories asap and WOW complete surprised!! This guy was 120lb starting and after a shake almost everyday he has gained 15lbs!!! He has complained no digestive effects or weird side effects he feels much stronger and obviously he looks much healthier! I did take a little sip to comment on the taste, very good chocolate flavor not yummy but still palatable. I mix it in the blender for like 30 seconds so I don’t deal with the clumps. Obviously it’s been extremely effective. The only downside is the cost… it’s very very expensive. I live how effective it is but will eat into your wallet. I think once we get to his goal weight we will try to find a cheaper alternative but this is really great for mass gains if you of course have the funds! 9/10!!!💪

Great taste and a solid mass gainer for muscle building, pleasant chocolate taste
I picked this up for my brother who is working on building muscle and improving his overall health, and it has become a consistent part of his daily workout and diet routine. The chocolate flavor is reasonably pleasant, not chalky or artificial tasting like some mass gainers can be, which makes it much easier to stick with day after day. (I tried it for purposes of this review.) He mixes it as directed and finds it blends smoothly without a gritty texture.Since he is focused on building muscle safely, having a product with a substantial protein amount per serving along with the added creatine and amino acids fits well into his goals without needing to overcomplicate his supplement routine. The only real downside worth mentioning is that it is not a cheap option compared to other protein powders on the market. That said, the taste and how well it has worked for his purposes make it worth the investment for him. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone with similar goals.

Okay, so I’m giving this five stars and I absolutely love it. The macros are great. It tastes fantastic. It mixes very well in my smoothies. No clumps, no grtty texture. I’m actually in a maintenance phase so I’m taking half to a quarter servings and it works great to help me balance my intake.There’s really nothing NOT to like here…almost. But I really want to emphasize how good it tastes before we get to that, because I feel like it might turn some of you off and it really shouldn’t because it is a great mass gain powder, and the issue completely disappears in my smoothie.But it’s also a pricey tub, and you probably deserve to be forewarned if you’re gonna shell out the cash.So here goes: when you open the tub, it smells like wet dog. I don’t know why. I don’t know what is in there that causes this. I don’t smell it in my smoothie (the chocolate actually comes very prominently to the surface after blending).It’s strictly and in-the-container issue. But I’ll admit…it’s weird.I’ve tried countless proteins and more than a few mass gainers, and I’ve never experienced this.So…do with that what you will, but I’ll still heartily recommend this.

Received the GNC AMP Mass XXX Chocolate Flavor quickly with no problems with packaging or freshness. It was properly sealed as well.I decided to try this to help supplement my diet due to my busy lifestyle. It pretty much has everything I would be looking for to help support adding some muscle mass and putting some weight back on, especially on days when I don’t have time to eat properly.I do need to be careful with my protein intake because too much causes me digestive issues. As a result, I’m currently testing this in smaller quantities to see how my body handles it. The chocolate flavor tastes great. And since it already contains creatine I can hold off on buying separate creatine powder for my smoothies.Now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about the cost. When you first look at the $86.99 price, your eyes might pop out a little. But you also have to consider the ingredients and what you’re getting. If you use it exactly as directed you’re supposed to get 13 servings which means you’re basically looking at about two weeks of use.That’s another reason I decided to test it in smaller quantities. I want to see what kind of impact it has on my body and determine how well it works for me. I also plan to discuss it with my GP to make sure I’m getting the right overall mix of what I need.So far it’s a great-tasting product with an heavily loaded formula for someone specifically looking to maintain or gain weight. However, until I’ve used it for a while, I can’t really attest to the actual physical effects or results. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars to start.I’ll update the review in the future once I have a better idea of how it’s working for me.4 Stars

Not a huge fan of the flavor change but still solid
I gave this updated chocolate formula a try, and while the macros and performance are still solid, I’m personally not a huge fan of the new taste. It definitely doesn’t taste quite as good as the previous version.Aside from the flavor change, it still mixes up nicely in a shaker cup without leaving heavy clumps. It packs a heavy-hitting 50g of protein and 770 calories per serving, which makes hitting your daily caloric goals a breeze. Even with all those calories, it sits comfortably in the stomach and doesn’t cause any heavy bloating post-workout. At least for me.Since I don’t work out every single day, the container actually holds quite a bit and will last me a good while. Overall, if you loved the older formula’s flavor, you might be a bit disappointed by this update, but it’s still a reliable mass gainer.

Great Gains and Huge Scoop Size
This GNC Mass gainer is definitely doing its job for my bulking phase. The chocolate flavor is surprisingly rich and tastes like a thick milkshake when mixed with milk. I noticed some solid strength gains and better muscle fullness during my heavy lifts. It provides a massive amount of calories and protein per serving. And I’ve experienced no negative side effects when taking it. The serving size is pretty huge though, which can be a bit daunting at times. You have to mix multiple massive scoops to get the full effect, which makes the powder very thick and requires a lot of shaking or a blender to get rid of clumps. It also means you burn through the very large tub in just 13 servings so it’s not the greatest value. However, if you don’t mind the heavy volume of powder and the quick burnout rate, the quality of the ingredients and the results really do make it worth it.
