Stick with a trusted brand.
It’s creatine. It will work. Unfortunately I’m not putting this in my body to see the pretty standard effects of creatine. This is because it has a warning on the back that says “WARNING: LEAD – Cancer and reproductive harm”. Of course a lot of people tend to ignore this because it is via California Prop 65, and I tend also to roll my eyes at their warnings, but with this, I’m going to stick to a more reputable brand who does not need this warning. There’s a tiny “USA MADE” logo on it, with tinier text that reads “Domestic and Imported Material”. Then all claims about this product on the bottle feature an asterisk, which means they have not been evaluated by the FDA.

Super convenient way to get creatine without the mess
I picked these up because I got tired of scooping powder every day, and the capsules make it so much easier to stay consistent. No weird taste, no gritty shakes, and it’s just straight pure creatine monohydrate like you’d expect. They’re a little big if you hate swallowing pills, but not crazy bad, and you can always split the dose if needed. Definitely noticed the usual strength and endurance boost after a couple weeks without any stomach issues.

Contains filler ingredients
Not a great option if you are looking for clean creatine. It contains titanium dioxide which is banned in some countries due to health concerns. Pills also are on the larger size.

Good stuff so far, easy to swallow and odorless
These pills are easy to swallow, they’re a medium sized capsule.Haven’t noticed any ill side effects and I’ve been taking them for 3 days now. No fowl taste, not burping up anything fishy, and the pills themselves don’t have any odor. For maintenance, these will last a maximum of 25 days if you do the 2 servings a day.As a dietary supplement, this is a 50 day supply. And in loading phase (first 3 days), you take 6 pills in the morning and 6 more 6 hours later. So if you’re starting off in the loading phase, you’ll want to buy two to have a month supply.

Confusing serving size and dosing
I’ve been taking micronized creatine for almost 5 months and I’m surprised by how well it works. Since I’ve started taking it, I feel mentally sharper and my post-workout recovery has really improved. It’s one of the only supplements with real scientific evidence that it’s effective. The one downside is that it can be (literally) hard to swallow. The brands I’ve tried so far all have a slightly off taste, and it’s kind of like drinking sand. I have gotten used to it, and I just chug the stuff as quickly as possible every day to get the maximum effect.Unlike the regular micronized powder you mix into your drink, these capsules make taking your supplement a LOT more pleasant. It contains silicone dioxide, an anti-caking agent and is safe when consumed up to 1500mg/day in supplements (from the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority). The titanium dioxide on the other hand, has some potential safety concerns. It is simply used to whiten the product, and is not needed at all. The FDA has deemed this safe in supplements, but other health agencies caution its use. The EFSA banned it because it couldn’t rule out its genotoxicity, but never because there’s evidence that it causes genotoxicity (there’s no evidence of this). There’s a big difference between the two! There’s a lot of evidence proving that it is safe. The only issue I have with these capsules is the dosing. I take 5g of creatine, which is (1g=1000mg) 5000mg of creatine. This pretty standard. However, three capsules of this product (serving size) is 2500mg. So in order to get to 5000mg, I need to take 6 capsules, 2 servings. That’s a LOT of capsules every day, and it also means this entire product only has 25 servings. The package instructions even state that a maintenance dose is one serving 1-2x/day. The recommended dosing for people weighing between 121-200lbs is 5g (5000mg). So most people will need 5g of creatine every day. This makes the capsules VERY expensive. I’m fortunate that I received this at a discount. I plan on using these capsules for travel, because the most important thing about creatine is that you take it EVERY day. And traveling with capsules is a lot easier than traveling with a bag or container full of powder. But for the money, creatine is very cheap and you shouldn’t spend a lot to take it. Keep that in mind when purchasing your next creatine supplement.

Stick with a known brand
This stuff contains a substance that is classified as a carcinogen when breathed as a powder, and is really only supposed to be used in things that aren’t ingested. I was unaware when I made the purchase hat these contain titanium dioxide, but now that I know and did some research I am hesitant to continue taking these pills.
