    I go to Mayo Clinic for physicals and discovered I had some higher cholesterol. Rather than take a prescription drug I used this product. The result was lower cholesterol by 30 points and no other co-factors to reduce it. So I am sure they work. My internist at Mayo agreed that I should continue to take them.

    I like the Red Yeast Rice processed by Douglas Laboratories, they don’t use fillers unlike some companies do. If you want max benefit from your Red Yeast Rice use the Beni Kogi brand from Douglas Labs. My Doctor said using other products won’t give you the results this product will. If you want good supplements, use Douglas Labs and Pure Encapsulations products. They test more than most companies. Also these companies are recommended more by Doctors than others.

    It Really Works

    I tried another brand of RYR and it did nothing for my cholesterol. I switched to this brand on my doctor’s suggestion, and my next test showed much improved cholesterol levels.It’s much more expensive than generic statin drugs, but I think there are good reasons in this case for preferring a natural alternative.I am not giving medical advice here- just reporting my own experience.

    Use vs Statin!

    Was taking designs for health prior and my LDL dropped 30 points when taking as directed. Purchased Douglas due to more affordable cost and good reputation as a supplement maker.Have not had blood test done to confirm but imagine prob works close to the same.Unless you MUST take a statin – don’t! Try RYR 1st
