Not enough transparency about magnesium forms
I purchased this because the product title highlights “Magnesium Glycinate,” but the actual label only lists a 300 mg proprietary magnesium blend containing magnesium bisglycinate, malate, citrate, and oxide. The label does not disclose how much of each type is included, so there is no way to know how much magnesium glycinate you are actually getting.For a supplement that specifically markets multiple forms of magnesium, I would expect the amounts of each form to be clearly listed rather than combined into a proprietary blend. The ingredients may be reasonable, but the lack of transparency makes it difficult to evaluate the actual formulation and compare it to other magnesium supplements.

I recieved this from the amazon vine program and I’m going to give you my experience with it.This is a magnesium blend that combines a few quality versions of magnesium. I have taken it for quite a few weeks now and notice nothing changed from going from one brand to this one. That to me is evidence enough that it’s a quality product. I’ve had zero side effects occur during my usage and the pills are normal enough sized to be an easy swallow. Great product!

i’ve been using magnesium as an occasional nighttime supplement when overstimulated and i need to calm down. it does the job and this particular product seems to do that well. you may want to try one pill instead of two for the first time, to make sure you do not get diarrhea. most don’t from this. it’s packaged well, and i thought the price was right. Also impressed that it has glycinate not gluconate.For the bad, there are some issues on the amazon page. Their product images list the same ingredients multiple times, and list “gliconato”, inventing a hybrid word between glicinato/bisglicinato (glycinate) and gluconato (gluconate). also, the product page images list “forma no oxidada de magnesio”, stating that it’s not oxidized, and then right on the bottle in front of me it states magnesio oxido, which is obviously and oxide. The actual product replaced that claim with “formas queladas de magnesio”, meaning that that it has chelated forms of magnesium. so i’m going to be kind and assume that the marketing team just used some AI without knowing the significance of the chemistry, and only take off one star for these product image problems, since it works great.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.My wife takes magnesium supplements as part of her daily routine. She prefers a complex over a single magnesium supplement and these are exactly the right mix to meet her requirements. There are enough here to last for several months and they seem to perform exactly as she wants them to perform. Easy to take and seemingly effective. I will order these again when she finally runs out.

I picked up Clair Magnesium Glycinate to help boost my magnesium intake, primarily because I’ve been dealing with persistent leg cramps. While the supplement does the job and I did not have any side effects or upset stomach, there are a few things worth mentioning that other buyers should know before purchasing.First, the descriptions on the bottles are printed in Spanish, which can be inconvenient if you don’t read the language and want to quickly check ingredients or directions. Second, the serving size requires taking two pills, which is unusual compared to most magnesium supplements I’ve used in the past that only require one. On top of that, two pills only deliver about 70% of the daily recommended value, which feels underwhelming given the effort of swallowing double the amount.I did not have any stomach issues with these, which is a plus, but I don’t love having to take two pills versus just one. The value isn’t great either. Even though the package comes with two bottles, needing two pills per serving effectively cuts your supply in half. I would not really recommend this brand due to the lack of strength and the instructions/details not being printed in a language most people can read. They do have a two-year date on them so they are fresh.

Each bottle has 90 white, powdery capsules, so this is really a 90 day supply, which does not seem like a terrible price for that many days.They each come packaged in a box, shrink-wrapped, then with a shrink-wrapped lid, and finally with a safety seal inside, so I guess they really want me to feel like these are secure. At that point, you almost need tools just to get in. The capsules go down easily with water, and there is no smell or anything remarkable about them, which is exactly what I want from a magnesium supplement, because excitement is best left to other aisles.I have not noticed any side effects for me, but I do take magnesium daily already. Since I cannot really read the bottle, I am just hoping I am taking something reasonably equivalent to my regular brand. So far, they seem fine, ordinary in the best possible way, and the price feels fair for a three month supply.
