Great ingredients, but unpleasant burnt plastic like smell
I really like that these Vitamin D3 gummies are certified vegan, plant based, and made with limited, clean ingredients. It’s nice that they’re suitable for adults, seniors, and kids, and the lemon flavor is mild and not too sweet. I also appreciate that they’re non GMO, gluten free, and soy free.However, the biggest downside for me is the smell. When opening the bottle, there’s a burnt plastic like odor that’s hard to ignore and makes taking them unpleasant. Because of that, it takes away from an otherwise good product.Good formula and concept, but the smell definitely needs improvement.

At first I thought these either smelled or tasted weird, but the lemon flavor is definitely growing on me and sometimes I’ll even eat several at a time. I’ve been collecting various supplements in gummy form since they are generally keto friendly and give me something sweet to eat during my busy day. While I normally classify supplement gummies into either “sticky mess” or “like candy” category – these kind of fall into the middle, perhaps leaning toward the candy-like side, but they do have a stickiness to them more than I’d expect; they’re higher quality than most and have a bullet or gum drop like shape and are very chewy. I’ve felt great after eating these and despite my initial aversion towards the taste I’d say these rank as some of my favorite I’ve had. Its a good thing they are only 4.2 carbs per gummy or my diet would be in jeopardy! At $25 for 60 gummies, they are affordable but priced slightly higher than average – but the flavor gives me some extra value for that money. Lemon is a rarer flavor when it comes to supplements so I would recommend them on that alone to help mix up the variety for this sort of thing!

For supplement products, due to the fact that they are so unregulated in the US, I always like to check for a few things like is there any information about where it was manufactured, any information about 3rd party testing and how many capsules, scoops or servings per recommended daily dose to translate to a total number of doses instead of just overall count.This product is made in the US and states that it is 3rd party tested. Unfortunately there isn’t much additional information about 3rd party testing in a detailed certificate of analysis for quantities of the stated ingredients at this time which is pretty common. Some companies occasionally post it but it is unfortunately rare for most of them.The product recommended serving size is 2 which gives 30 doses, 20 Calories, 2.8g added sugar and D3 1000 IU. The added sugar is a touch high especially if you’re trying to be healthy and limit processed sugar. That said they are actually quite tasty. They are easy to use and have a good chew. As vegan, the D3 is supposedly derived from lichen.The price is a little higher than some D3 gummies available and some that are higher dosage as well. Mostly meet expectations.

These supplements are a pleasant surprise in terms of having a nice “clean” ingredient list and avoiding added chemicals. Whenever I see a health product and then the label is filled with crazy chemical names I just can’t understand why the manufacturer thinks we want that, so it was great to see this label is not like that. The gummies have very little smell and a faint lemon but mostly neutral flavor, nothing unpleasant. Serving size is reasonable at 2 gummies per serving which is nice because you can cut it in half if needed in terms of the amount of vitamin d you’re aiming for (don’t forget about other sources that you might be getting like fortified milk, cereal and multivitamins). Size of container is ok, though if you take a full serving every day it will only last 30 days.Overall I’m happy with the product, and especially happy with the nice clean ingredients list.
