These ended up being a huge hit for both me and the people at my gym. Since the package came with two boxes, I brought one in to share before a workout class, and they disappeared almost immediately. Multiple people asked where I got them because everyone seemed to really enjoy both the energy boost and the flavor.What I personally like most is that the energy feels clean and steady instead of intense or jittery. A lot of pre-workout products make me feel overstimulated or give me that shaky “too much caffeine” feeling, but these gave me a noticeable boost in motivation and focus without the crash afterward. They’re strong enough to wake you up and get you moving, especially on those days where your body just does not want to cooperate.The convenience factor is another major plus. I love not having to mix powders or carry around a shaker bottle. These are easy to toss into a gym bag, purse, or even a pocket for a quick pre-workout boost on the go.The Blood Raz flavor was surprisingly good too. It tastes kind of like a berry candy mixed with raspberry punch, with just enough tartness to balance the sweetness. Very similar to other energy shots, high caffeine with little/no pump
I ordered these because I needed preworkout and my gym sells them at the desk. The shotgun shell design is cool and makes it convenient to keep in your trunk if you’re an office worker and hit the gym after work – super convenient.The cost is high compared to preworkout and is more similar to an energy drink, just compressed into a single shot rather than a carbonated can. Caffeine is 200mg which, again, is the same as an energy drink or most powdered preworkouts.I didn’t notice much in the way of a pump, but the stimulation/energy was similar to my normal preworkout stack. I know pump products/ingredients are hard to compress into a small shot, but it would be nice for vascularity and lifting work to have some pump effect.Overall, this is a fun, pricey, but effective product for pre exercise mental energy and stimulation – and the taste isn’t bad either.

The design of this energy shot is pretty unique, and makes it super portable if you want to carry it along for the day or in a gym bag.The taste of the shot is pretty much like most other energy shots I’ve tried. It’s not a bad flavor, the “blood raz” is a good taste, sort of like a raspberry forward fruit punch, and not overpowering, and it goes down quick since it is a smaller shot vs a full energy drink. It is a little sweeter than expected, probably because it is so concentrated, but not bad.I usually go with energy drinks when I’m looking for ~200mg caffeine boost, but the portability of these is nice. Also good if you are looking for a quick energy boost for a pre-workout or not in the mood to drink an entire drink and would rather hydrate a bit with water afterwards.Compared to regular energy drinks, this shot is about the same. If you are using it for a pre-workout, compared to those, this is a bit weaker, but still can get the job done. You will have a lot less feeling of boost/pump than a pre-workout powder or mix, but it feels cleaner with no side effects or jitters. It is a much more smooth experience IMO.I do limit my daily caffeine to around 200-300mg, so one of these shots does me really good in the morning. If you are someone that is used to more caffeine, this might be a good pick me up in the afternoon to get over the hump or hitting the gym after work. I got a noticeable boost using this drink, but nothing that gave me intense jitters, headaches or crash later, so I recommend it.Pretty effective overall. I get the same feeling as if I drank a Celcius/Monster energy drink without all the fullness of the liquid. Good value for the money, as it is a little cheaper to get these than energy drinks. The convenience of being able to carry a small shot or quickly down it instead of carrying a large drink/bottle/powders etc. makes it worth the cost.

AND a USA product, which is important to me as it is being consumed internally.About 12 years ago at Soundcheck Nashville I tried one of those famous little red energy shots for the first time and it made me spin like a ceiling fan for about an hour, then I spent the next three hours moving around like a tranquilized sloth. After that experience I stayed away from those products entirely.This Blood Raz formula is completely different for me. Because – it’s full of only good stuff.First off, the cherry flavor has a very satisfying character instead of that harsh medicinal taste many energy shots have.More importantly, within just a few minutes it is like a clean light bulb switches on mentally without the unpleasant overload sensation.I already take L-Tyrosine separately and understand how useful that ingredient can be for alertness and mental drive, so seeing it here made immediate sense to me.What surprised me was the inclusion of L-Tryptophan because I normally associate that more with calming and balancing effects. I like this because it is small and much more convenient than drinking an entire Monster drink.The active ingredients are: Caffeine (200 mg)–sourced from green tea extract for fast-acting energy. AlphaSize® (Alpha GPC 50%) (50 mg)–supports mental clarity and focus. Vitamin B12 (250 mcg)–supports energy metabolism. Huperzine A (50 mcg)–supports cognitive function, and N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, L-Tryptophan–nootropic blend for smooth energy and focus.When I need a boost, I typically grab a zero-sugar Monster. While it has about 150mg of caffeine, the boost is minimal because I consume it slowly over several hours. These Bucked Up Buck Shots are convenient, and just half a shot provides me with the energy I need. I did not enjoy drinking coffee because it made me jittery and caused a crash afterward.
