You might find a better price if you search around, but it’s going to depend on which one is on discount or has a coupon at any given time.I like that these aren’t loaded up with any extra vitamin/mineral supplements. I get more than enough of my needed vitamins already, either through diet or through other supplements I take. This is just the L-Glutamine.It says on the label to take them with food. Taking it with a protein shake is fine, since your body sees that as foot anyway. I’ll take one of these a day and supplement extra L-glutamine with some gummies I’ve got.Capsules are slightly larger than average, but still easy enough to swallow. No discernable odor from the bottle.It was packed for shipment better than it really needed to be for what it is. Other sellers/shippers could take a lesson. It arrived in a fitted jiffy‑bag inside another jiffy-bag. The bottle was double-tamper sealed with the outer wrap and the peel-off seal under the cap. Both seals were intact.Expiry date on the bottom of the bottle is 10 Oct 2026.

So much research has shown the benefits of L-Glitamine so here’s the reasons that I’m taking it:1. Since I work out, the benefits of reducing muscle soreness and speeding recovery so that I can workout more, and make gains is important.2. Protein in a meal helps fill us up more but adding amino acids like L-Glutamine can compound that effect. Then, you don’t want to eat as often. And that ends up in a loss of weight hopefully for people like me!😂3. It helps people deal with stress. This is important because when I get stressed, I tend to eat more.4. It helps to balance gut biome. And that makes us nicer to be around.🤣5. It helps strengthen the immune system. That is So Important for those of us that feel stress which reduces our body’s ability to deal with flus and such.6. And it actually helps to remove waste products like ammonia from the body!So far, this 1 small/medium sized pill daily has been pretty easy to swallow. I am sensitive to pill size so this is a very positive thing. And it has been gentle on my stomach.I am feeling a bit less stressed since taking it but in all honesty it is hard to gauge when the circumstances of life change so much from day to day to know what has the most effect! So, I am thankful to researchers whose life purpose is to find the positive effects of certain supplements like this one!For the price here, it is more expensive compared to others on the market and I’m not seeing a reason for that. likely effective, although maybe quality control issue
So I like the supplement itself, but unfortunately there was an issue with the bottle I got. For some reason a few of the pills were damaged inside, and the powdery stuff had leaked out in the bottle. and it looks like it is possible they were even tampered with. But the bottle safety seal was securely on there when I got them…so more likely it was perhaps some kind of manufactuering error that punctured the top tip of a few of the pills, and quality control issue to not notice it. Nonetheless…I was not thrilled to get a supplement containter with damaged pills that leaked out in the bottle, and look suspicious.The good news: is that the company has a long track record, being in business for 101 years. Although they have now changed thier name so if one googles the address on the bottle, you can see the new company name is “New Generation Wellness” and its kindof cool that on that website you can see 2 youtube videos highlighted. One with a tour through their factory and the process of how they make the supplements, and the other with the 4th generation family CEO, and history of the company as told by him. So these are of course made in the USA and have what should be good safety standards for the material in the supplements themselves. Although I am not sure why they are still producing things with the old company name and when I initialy went to the anaboliclabs.com website listed on the bottle…it said website “down for maintence” which was a bit ominous at first. So the only way I learned of the new name…was to enter in the address and google map search it on the ground to see what the building actually looks like currently (and saw the new name on the logo of the building – the address on the bottle is “1835 E Cheyenne Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.) So they should probably have that website updated to redirect to the new website…but why are they even using the old labels ? It makes me question quality control and that they might be doing things (or not doing things) to try to save money.Nonetheless, I had already swallowed one before I noticed the issue with a few damaged ones, and had no ill effect. (if the safety seal had been damaged I would not have had any.) So the next day I opened one up and it smelled fine, and found you could easily just unscrew it and screw it back on if one wanted to tamper with it. So it very likely seems to be maybe an issue with a machine and quality control imo, and fortunately its only 2 or 3 pills out of the whole bottle, so most are fine. and as I have had a gastrointestional issue recently…I feel slightly better in that regard while taking these, so they are likely helping my gut and intestional issue, so I am pretty glad about that.Bottom line: This is a company with a long track record and made in the USA, although going through some changes perhaps and may be some quality control issues imo. But the supplement themselves seem to be good. So while I can’t strongly recommend based on my experience, they may also be a good choice for some people too, as others seem to have had a better experience than me.
