NAD+ raising precursor NR, shown to be effective and from a brand I trust for legitimacy and quality
This appears to be a very good supplement. The first thing to note is that 21st Century is a trustworthy supplement brand. For over 30 years, according to the listing page. Important, because NAD related supplements have become popular, leading to a lot of new supplements coming out, some of which, upon being analyzed, were found to not match the label’s claims. This NAD+ supplement contains nicotinamide riboside, NR, a precursor to a precursor to NAD+, which is actually nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. Taking NAD+ itself, has been shown to not be effective in raising NAD+ levels. NR is a precursor to NMN, nicotinamide mononucleotide, both of which have been shown to raise NAD+ levels. Some people prefer NR, because it is a smaller molecule which gets into your system most effectively. And because a patented form of NR, available for maybe a dozen years, has been the most studied. While some people prefer NMN, as it is a direct precursor to NAD. NAD has multiple benefits from cellular energy to activating sirtuins. Which also has multiple very interesting benefits, most famously shown due to the effect of resveratrol in red wine, besides methods like caloric restriction, in activating sirtuins. the bottle contains 90 capsules. providing 30, three capsule servings containing 300 mg. of nicotinamide riboside chloride, a common supplement amount and form of NR.NR is a great substance, a precursor to NAD, which has shown multiple important benefits, including activating sirtuins. And this is a known and trusted brand, so I can depend on the legitimacy and quality of what’s inside the bottle. Very important for NAD related supplements.

Straightforward NAD at standard dosage
This product provides 300 mg of nicotinamide riboside (NR) per serving, delivered as nicotinamide riboside chloride. NR is a form of vitamin B3 that is commonly used in supplements designed to support cellular energy pathways and normal metabolic processes. A 300 mg daily amount is a standard and widely used dose in NR supplements and aligns with what is commonly found in both standalone NR products and combination NAD-focused formulas. From a dosage perspective, 300 mg sits in the middle of the typical consumer range. Many NR supplements provide between 250 mg and 300 mg per day, making this neither a low nor an unusually high dose. It is generally intended for ongoing daily use rather than short-term or high-potency supplementation. The formula does not include additional NAD-related compounds such as resveratrol, quercetin, or trimethylglycine, so it functions as a single-ingredient NR product rather than a synergistic blend. The capsules include small amounts of dietary fiber from oat fiber and standard excipients used for capsule stability. The product is labeled vegetarian and gluten free, which may be relevant for individuals with dietary preferences. No stimulants or fast-acting ingredients are included, indicating the product is designed for gradual, background nutritional support rather than immediate effects.Overall, this supplement offers a straightforward NR formulation at a commonly used dose, suitable for consumers specifically looking for nicotinamide riboside without added compounds. Its simplicity may appeal to those who prefer minimal formulas, while others may choose to pair it with complementary nutrients depending on their broader supplementation approach.

Lots of Oat Fiber
I typically have success with 21st Century supplements and find them to be reliable and a good value. When I ordered this NAD, I didn’t realize that it required a whopping 3 capsules, which seems excessive for 300mg. Then I noticed that the label says indicates a full 1g of fiber per serving, presumably the oat fiber listed. I’ve never seen fiber listed on a supplement that wasn’t specifically for fiber purposes, so that was odd but explains the need for 3 capsules. I mean, fiber is great and all, but the inclusion of a full gram of it warrants some explanation.Anyway, other than that mystery and taking up too much room in my pill box, I like this supplement just fine. The capsules are big, but easy to swallow and don’t make me nauseous, even in an empty stomach. But maybe that’s because of all the fiber. I regularly take NAD for anti-aging, and understandably don’t notice any immediate benefits in that regard. It does seem to maintain the extra energy boost and alertness that I expect from NAD. Overall, a pretty good product, but I wish I knew why so much fiber…

Hard to Tell If It’s Actually Working
I’ve been taking this supplement for about a month now, and honestly, I can’t say I’ve noticed any real difference. I was hoping for more energy or better recovery after workouts, but my day to day feels pretty much the same as before I started. The pills themselves are fine to swallow and don’t have any weird aftertaste or digestive issues, so no complaints there. I’ve been consistent about taking them as directed, so it’s not a matter of forgetting doses. The thing with supplements like this is that the benefits are supposed to be happening at a cellular level, which makes it really hard to gauge whether anything is actually happening. I don’t feel worse, but I also don’t feel noticeably better. My energy levels are the same, my post workout soreness is about what it always is, and I haven’t experienced any kind of mental clarity boost that some reviews mention.Maybe these things take longer than a month to show results, or maybe the effects are too subtle for me to pick up on. Or maybe my NAD+ levels were fine to begin with and I just don’t need supplementation. It’s impossible to know without getting bloodwork done, which I’m not planning to do.For the price point, I was expecting to feel something. If you’re considering this, just know that your experience might be similar to mine: no negative effects, but no obvious positives either. Your mileage may vary.

Hard to speak to results
It’s not really obvious in the time i was using it to be effective. I didn’t really notice any of the wellness effects highlighted, especially the improved recovery after working out, which was my primary reason for giving it a try. It’s easy enough to use it does recommend three capsules a day with meals and no more. But I can’t say that it’s of great quality or I saw any skin improvement or that it has any effectiveness. But that doesn’t mean that your results will be the same as mine if I saw results it would be a good value of money but since I didn’t I cannot say that it is.

Good quality NAD+ but relatively low dose
My wife has been taking NAD+ for a while now. I got her this because we have tried several supplements from 21st Century and have liked them, as they are an established brand with good quality products. This NAD+ has a lower dosage than the NAD+ my wife typically takes, and the serving size is also 3 capsules, which feels like a lot for the amount of NAD+. NAD+ is very hard to gauge the effectiveness of, as improvements take place on the cellular level, rather than having visible, quick results. Therefore, my wife can’t tell if this is a better option than what she was using previously. It’s a little on the pricey side for a 30 day supply, compared to some other options. Still, it is good quality, so my wife will finish the bottle, but she’s not sure if she will want to reorder this. If you’re looking for a lower-dose NAD+ to start out on, this one might be an alright option.

A Solid NAD+ Booster That Supports Energy & Cellular Wellness
I’ve been taking 21st Century NAD+ Nicotinamide Riboside 300 mg for about six weeks now, and it’s been a noticeable, supportive addition to my daily supplement routine. Good value!
21st Century is on my list of supplement companies I trust. They meet all my quality requirements, including being GMO-free, vegan, packed in the US, and third-party tested, and they do so at a reasonable price. Before trying their NAD+ Nicotinamide Riboside, I was taking a similar supplement that cost nearly twice as much, and sometimes gave me a dull headache. I’ve had no such problems with the 21st Century NAD. No headaches, no nausea (taken with or without food), no flushing. My energy levels have remained good. The capsules arrived in pristine condition, with no breakage. There’s a very slight, pleasant odor that reminds me, oddly, of pecans. The capsules are large but easy to swallow. The use-by date is 11/28, nearly three years in the future.
