    mixes well, I like the taste, love the added cicicoline for brain health

    At first I thought his was a little spendy, I was out of my other creatine and I am familiar with Zhou and have liked other products of theirs so I thought I would try this. I have a brain issue that now has me on annual MRIs and I have decided to start taking supplements to try to help. Creatine is supposed to be great for the brain and one doctor said it was the only supplement he makes sure his elderly mother takes. When I looked into citicoline I was blown away and I decided I needed to add it to my routine as it blows away regular choline. Citicoline passes through the blood brain barrier way more efficiently than regular choline making it way more bioavailable, and one of the metabolites from citicoline breaking down actually stimulates the rebuilding of brain cell membranes. I can take or leave the ginseng as it was really the creatine and citicoline I was after. The price of this creatine I believe reflects the addition of the branded citicoline so I think the price is justified if I look at what it would cost for a month’s supply of a citicoline supplement. This mixes well and I like the taste too. Very happy with this product.

    Great focus support with a strong tart flavor

    Finally, the tunnel focus I needed.I appreciate the ingredients list of this product. I’m used to creatine and have used ginseng before, but I was not familiar with the proprietary Cognizin. It seems to be a good addition to a routine, especially a morning routine to help with calm and focused attention throughout the day. This product helped me stay on task—a difficult ask of me—and that was with a single serving.Of note, you must love the flavor; otherwise, this will be difficult to manage unless you mix it into something with other flavors to mask it. The flavor is a strong, tart berry that mixes very well in oatmeal and my creamy smoothies.As an option, you can simply use a half-scoop instead of the full scoop as directed.     Great flavor

    I picked this up because I wanted a creatine supplement that offered more than just muscle support. I was intrigued by the added ingredients aimed at promoting focus and calm, and I’ve been using it before workouts as well as on busy workdays.The powder mixes well in water with very little residue left behind. The flavor is enjoyable—not overly sweet or artificial—and it’s easy to drink. I appreciate that it combines creatine with additional ingredients rather than requiring multiple supplements. I noticed it provided steady energy without making me feel jittery.One downside is that it may not be ideal if you’re looking for a simple, unflavored creatine.Overall, this has been a convenient all-in-one supplement that tastes good, mixes easily, and has earned a spot in my routine.

    Easy way to add some creatine in to your routine with an OK flavor

    It feels like everyone at my gym is taking supplements and optimizing everything, so I decided it was time to at least try adding a little creatine to my routine.I decided I wanted to start with 3g of it, so I actually take slightly less than the recommended scoop of this creatine+ focus powder.Do I feel more focused or strong? I don’t know, maybe? I always have trouble deciding what’s placebo and what’s real.The powder dissolves pretty easily in to water with some vigorous stirring and tastes OK. Flavor is a personal preference and all that, but I just don’t love the lemon in this one. It’s ok thought.This was an easy way to try out creatine, so I’ll probably keep it up.

    Zhou Creatine Calm and Focus Powder

    The Zhou Creatine Calm and Focus Powder blackberry lemon flavor is surprisingly refreshing compared to other creatine supplements I’ve used. It mixes smoothly without clumping. I like that it combines 5g of creatine monohydrate with Cognizin and Korean ginseng. It feels like it supports both muscle recovery and mental focus. I’ve noticed less fatigue during workouts and better concentration afterward. The tub is compact but lasts a full month with daily use, and the ingredient list feels clean. While it’s a bit more expensive than plain creatine, the added nootropics make it worth the price.

    Tasty, mixes well, and has good ingredients.

    I normally prefer my creatine to be unflavored so that I can mix it with flavors and other items I like, but sometimes there’s a real benefit to having a preflavored mix that I can just add to water and drink.For that reason, I’m really happy with the Zhou Creatine powder. The flavor is refreshing, not overly sweetened and not overly artificial. It’s just a light, refreshing taste that, sure, I guess I’d say matches “blackberry lemon” but is really just “somewhat citrus in nature and a bit fruit-like”. But definitely refreshing. Not too sweet – barely sweet at all (but just sweet *enough*). Not artificial tasting (in the sense of “doesn’t taste like chemicals”).It mixes pretty well, but you’ll want to shake the bottle you mix it in well, or stir again periodically as you drink it, because some does tend to settle otherwise. It is a white powder that gains a bit of a “pink lemonaide” color when water is added.Ingredient-wise, 5 out of every 7.4 grams (i.e., one serving size) is creatine, and half a gram more, almost, is a mix of ginseng (awesome) and “Cognizin Citicoline”, which… yeah, seems pretty “made up marketing”, but I do feel like whatever it is seems to help, although that might just be a placebo effect (in fact, it probably is a placebo effect, but I’m not bothered by that). The remaining 2 grams or so is, I’m sure, flavors and binding agents. All in all, it’s fairly “main ingredient heavy” without much in the way of fillers.I like this, and I’ve been alternating it with “plain” creatine that I add to a lemon-flavored electrolyte on the other days. Simple to add a scoop of this, stir, and drink. One scoop in about 8 oz of water works for me, but you can adjust to your desired taste.

    A good company with quality products & tastes good

    This is my 4th product from the Zhou company located in Utah. After visiting their website and reading about their origins, philosophy, and processes I have confidence in the products they produced. I buy Colostrum gummies from them and have been very satisfied with the results. This powder is a Creatine supplement which includes Korean Ginseng and Cognizin Citicoline. Information on the web concerning these ingredients indicate they may be beneficial in muscle development & recovery in addition to cellular health, alertness. Research suggests they are generally safe. As with all supplements, any effects are subtle & require time to recognize any benefits. This was the case when I started taking Colostrum which seemed to calm down my digestive system after two weeks. This product comes in the form of a powder which I mixed with water. It takes a bit of stirring to dissolve it and it’s best to drink it immediately to avoid sediment accumulation at the bottom of the glass. The taste is quite good. Citrus with a subtle berry flavor. It is quick and easy to make and the taste is pleasant which is an important factor in making it a daily habit. I think it is reasonably priced based upon my trust in Zhou products and the quality of the product.

    Worth a try

    I’ve only used a few times so far — initial impressions are that I like the taste but it definitely has a tartness to it. I’ve read other reviews that its effectiveness is enhanced when you’re active, so I plan to time it with that in mind to maximize effectiveness.This is a brand that is trusted for supplement products which is why the price is a little higher — the value is there for what you’re getting because of the brand behind it.
