Great-Tasting Creatine Blend with Some Nice Extras!

I’ve tried several different creatine supplements, and I really like the formulation ZHOU has put together with these Calm & Focus stick packs. Creatine monohydrate is already something I like incorporating into my routine for supporting strength, exercise performance, and muscle energy, but this formula goes a step further by adding Cognizin and Korean ginseng for additional cognitive and energy support. The Blackberry Lemon flavor is REALLY good! Sometimes flavored creatine powders can have an overly sweet, artificial taste or leave a gritty texture, but I’ve had no issues taking this one. The individual stick packs are also incredibly convenient because there’s nothing to measure, and they’re easy to throw in a purse, gym bag, or suitcase when traveling.I also appreciate that the formula is vegan, and I like having creatine combined with ingredients geared toward both physical and mental performance. I’ve tolerated it well with no unwanted issues, and overall it’s been very easy to incorporate into my routine. My only real complaint is that the box contains just 15 sticks. Since creatine is something that’s typically taken consistently, I REALLY wish this came as a 30-serving box for a full month’s supply. Other than that, I think this is an excellent and convenient creatine formula, especially if you want something beyond a basic unflavored creatine powder.

    Really beneficial for menopausal women!

I’ve been using some other products by ZHOU & really like them (their vanilla protein powder is yummy!!), so I was excited to see their Creatine line. I ordered their regular Creatine Monohydrate packets, as well as this one, Creatine Calm & Focus. Not only does it contain 5000mg of creatine monohydrate (for muscle growth & endurance), but it also contains Cognizen (a nootropic that can help support brain energy, focus, attention, and memory) & Korean Ginseng (an adaptogen meant to reduce mental fatigue and stress, as well as improve energy). This sounds like the perfect combination for a newly menopausal woman such as myself!I’m 44 and recently entered surgical menopause after a hysterectomy. I’ve been doing a lot of research on supplements that can help support this transition, and I creatine is always mentioned. Even my doctor mentioned it would be beneficial for me to start. She recommended 3000-5000mg per day. Each packet has 5000mg.During menopause & perimenopause, creatine can: preserve muscle mass & strength, support healthy brain function, protect bone density AND improve mood! I’m struggling a little bit in the mood department and really don’t want to lose the muscle I’ve worked so hard for.I tried it the past few mornings before a workout. It mixes really well in a water bottle! I prefer flavored drinks to be watered down a little, so instead of 12 oz I’m now using 16.9 (a full water bottle). That’s helping cut down on the artificially sweet taste the stevia has. It mainly tastes like sour lemonade with a hint of blackberry flavor, and is really yummy! It mixes up really well, but make sure to KEEP mixing it as you drink it down. The last sip has been super bitter lately.PROS:• A ton of increased energy, which is helpful before my HRT patch change, when I feel sluggish and blah.• I was able to workout a little longer! I did 90 mins of cardio today without feeling fatigued.• I swear I felt more focused, even the first time!• I lifted much heavier• No energy crash mid-day• I had “happy energy” and was more social in the afternoon.CONS:• I don’t know if this is menopause-related, or from the packets, but I felt EXTREME heat intolerance while doing cardio.• I became excessively sweaty at the gym• I felt really hungry… again, might be HRT-relatedSo far I’m not bloating like a pufferfish, like some people do on creatine. I hope to avoid that, and have heard creatine monohydrate is better about that. Drink lots of water and workout! So far so good, and I’m excited to continue it!** UPDATE: I’m having a very specific side effect that may or may not be related, or might be partly due to menopause. About one hour after drinking it, I break out in the WORST hot flash. I use an estradiol patch so I don’t usually get hot flashes, but this might be causing them while working out. I’m prickly feeling and dripping in sweat. Also, hiccups! Both things started after using this. It’s annoying but maybe I can tough it out.

Perfect way to travel with creatine! Tasty lemon berry mix in individual 5000 mg packets

See my pics, the first shows how I normally travel with creatine, on the left I take a bulky container with a scoop — it’s messy and looks suspicious, lol. On the right are these handy 5000 mg packets. I can throw one in my purse or pocket and they are just easier to pack. So convenient. I usually use unflavored creatine, but these taste great. This company ZHOU and its supplements appear on the SuppCo rating app, an independent company that rates supplements based on manufacturing standards, quality, testing, and ingredients. In May 2026, Suppco was acquired by Function Health, a company focused on functional health principles and optimizing health to avoid problems before they start.Zhou’s “TrustScore” is listed as High with an 8.49 out of 10 rating.Products are confirmed made in the USA at a cGMP 3rd party certified facility. The brand is NSF certifiedProducts are 3rd party lab tested as ISO accredited testing labs for purity, identity, potency and heavy metals. All of the inactive ingredients are considered safe.Lot # and “Best By” date is printed on the bottle. This particular supplement is rated 8.75 out of 10 “Very Good”:All of the inactive ingredients are considered safe.Lot # and “Best By” date is printed on the box.I try to take creatine daily for benefits to muscles and brain as I age (almost 60). These also contain some ingredients for mental energy and stress support. It’s hard to quantify changes in the short term on an individual basis. So many factors come into play in how I may feel on a particular day that it’s hard to pinpoint why I may feel extra energized or more sluggish (did I sleep well, am I stressed about something, did I drink alcohol the day before, how well am I eating, etc). I am very interested in giving my aging body the resources it needs to have the best outcome it can have, along with lifestyle and dietary habits. This formula is from a well-established brand. They have a fully functioning website, showing dozens of products, more information about them, articles and the team behind their supplements. I highly recommend visiting the website, as it helped solidify my confidence in the company and this supplement especially after the high ratings from Suppco.

    Ingredients ✅ Taste ✅ Dosage ✅ Price ✅

    – I love that these are sweetened with stevia! It’s so hard to find flavored supplement or vitamin powder sticks like this that don’t use sucralose. I’m always looking for ways to make my supplements a little more enjoyable without adding a bunch of unnecessary sweeteners, so this was a huge selling point for me.- The blackberry lemon flavor is delicious, although I admit that I’m partial to any lemon or lemonade-type flavor. It has a nice fruity flavor without tasting overly sweet or fake.- I also love that each stick has the full 5 grams of creatine that I’m looking for in a daily dose. So I don’t have to measure out a scoop of creatine separately, which makes this especially convenient on days when I’m traveling or on the go.- The stick packs are SO convenient. I can throw one in my purse, gym bag, or suitcase and have my creatine with me without having to carry around a whole tub or measure out powder into another container. This is definitely one of those products that makes it easier to actually stay consistent with a supplement routine.- I really like that this isn’t just plain creatine. It also contains Cognizin for mental alertness/focus and Korean ginseng for mental stress support, so it’s nice to have the added benefits in the same drink. It’s especially appealing for me on days when I want something to help me feel a little more focused at work without reaching for another caffeinated drink.- I appreciate that it’s vegan, gluten-free, made without soy, and lab-verified as well. Those are all things I look for when I’m choosing supplements.- At $21 for a 15 pack, these around about $1.40 per serving. That is quite a bit more than buying a tub of unflavored creatine like I normally do. You are paying a bit more here for flavor, convenience, and the additions of Cognizin and ginseng which I think is fair.- Overall, I think these are a really fun alternative to taking plain, unflavored creatine every day. The flavor makes it something I actually look forward to drinking, and the individual packets make it incredibly easy to take with me. I’m definitely a fan!

Expensive way to take creatine, but convenient for travel, and includes citicoline and genseng.

It’s hard for me to evaluate this. Like all the other posted reviews at the time I’m writing this, I’m a Vine reviewer: I received this for free in return for a review. So cost is not an issue for Vine reviewers; free is free. We SHOULD look at price and value, but I’m not sure that’s always a consideration for every Vine reviewer getting free stuff to evaluate. Give me a Ferrari and of course I’ll love it; make me buy a Ferrari, and the value proposition changes dramatically. There’s a lot to like about ZHOU Creatine Powder Calm and Focus Stick Packs. It’s super convenient if you’re traveling, even no further than the gym. If you want to take your creatine there, then this is certainly WAY more convenient than taking a tub of creatine with you. I’ve never seen anyone do that; I’m sure many of my fellow gym-goers take creatine, but they do so at home. If I were traveling away from home, this would be a really good way to take creatine on the road (or in the air). So convenience is definitely a 5-star strength of this product.Taste: meh. It’s tolerable. If this were only a drink mix and I were rating based on flavor, it would 2 stars. It’s not bad to drink, but “not bad” isn’t my flavor standard! But this isn’t a drink mix you buy for taste; given that it’s a supplement with 3 ingredients, the flavor is fine.Creatine is creatine. Although I can’t find the word “micronized” anywhere on the package or in the ad, maybe I just missed it. There seems to be a little bit more grit and undisolved creatine in the bottom of my glass, so maybe it’s not micronized. But no big deal for me; every creatine I’ve taken leaves some undisolved grit that I have to stir up and swallow, so although this seems to leave a bit more grit, I’m OK with that; it doesn’t bother me.The differentiator here, other than the portability, is the inclusion of citicoline and genseng. Since I really wasn’t in the market for taking either of them, it’s hard for me to determine a value of their inclusion. If you want them, then this is probably a great supplement for you, although I’d want to comparison shop.Price: this is the problem area for me. At the current price as I’m writing this, these cost $1.41/dose. I take Horbäach creatine (purchased here on Amazon in 1 kilogram tub (200 doses of 5g) that costs me $0.12/dose. So these sticks are nearly 12 times as expensive. So would I take the ZHOU sticks instead of measuring out a scoop from my tub? Absolutely not.ZHOU sticks at $1.41/day x 365 days = $516/year.Horbäach at $0.12/day x 365 days = $44/year.Either way I’m getting 5 grams of creatine, so the extra cost is for travel convenience and the other two ingredients. Since I’m not interested in taking those extra ingredients, I haven’t priced them.So I’m fine with the convenience of these sticks, just not the price. If you like the inclusion of citicoline and genseng, and want the convenience of a travel packet, then this seems like the product for you.Full Disclosure: I received this product at no charge through Amazon’s Vine program in return for writing an honest, accurate product review. Amazon’s only requirement is that I review the products I order, not that I praise them. I believe I have an obligation to tell you what I think – good and/or bad so you can make informed purchases.

Convenient, Easy to Mix and Taste Great

I really like the convenience of these supplement stick packs, especially for taking creatine on the go. The powder dissolves easily in cold water with no noticeable clumping or residue. The flavor is pleasant and berry-like, although I don’t really pick up distinct blackberry or lemon notes. It’s still a nice-tasting drink, and I find that having some flavor makes me more likely to drink water throughout the day. I use half a packet in a 16 oz water bottle because a full packet was too sweet for my taste. As far as the claims about focus, stress support, and energy, I can’t say that I’ve noticed a definite difference yet. Maybe the effects become more noticeable with continued use, but for now, I mainly enjoy having the added ingredients in my daily drink and the taste. The individual packets make it especially easy to take along wherever I go.

    Well-Dosed and Convenient

This is a high-quality, appropriately dosed supplement aimed at supporting physical performance, mental clarity, and focus.DosingEach stick has 5,000 mg of creatine monohydrate, 250 mg of Cognizin citicoline, and 200 mg of Korean ginseng extract (Panax ginseng). See photo of the supplement facts panel for reference.Value of the FormulaCognizin citicoline and patented Korean ginseng extract are high-grade, branded ingredients. Standalone Cognizin capsules alone typically run somewhere in the $0.20-0.45 per serving range depending on the brand, so combining a full 250 mg dose with a full 5 g creatine dose and flavoring in convenient stick packs helps justify the premium over plain bulk creatine powder.Best UseThis is a great option if you want a convenient, pre-portioned format for travel, work, or the gym bag. That said, Zhou also sells a 30-serving tub for about $30, so if you’re only using this at home, the tub is a much more economical choice for daily use.Personal ExperienceI’ve taken creatine for years, so I don’t necessarily notice a difference from that ingredient specifically. I can say I’ve felt a calming effect during recent periods of stress, and this has helped with that.TL;DR: A well-dosed, conveniently packaged creatine and nootropic stick that justifies its premium price through quality branded ingredients, though a tub is more economical for regular home use.5/5 – Well-dosed, convenient, and priced fairly for the branded ingredients included, with a noticeable calming benefit.

Good Flavor, Smooth Mixing, and Noticeable Support for Focus and Workouts

The Zhou Creatine Calm and Focus Stick Packs appears to be a very high-quality supplement overall. It is labeled vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, lab verified, and manufactured in a GMP-certified facility in the USA, which gave me additional confidence in the product quality and standards.I also appreciated the clear manufacturing date and best-by date on the packaging. The product has a two-year shelf life, and mine arrived only about three and a half months into that window, so it felt fresh with plenty of time remaining to use it comfortably. The powder is easy to prepare and mixes smoothly without clumping. I have ordered this before but not in the convenient stick packs. This is so much easier and I can take with when I travel. The blackberry flavor with hints of lemon tastes pleasant and refreshing, making it easy to incorporate into a daily routine. I also did not experience any stomach discomfort or digestive issues while using it.In my personal experience, I noticed improved calmness, better mental clarity, and helpful support during workouts. Of course, results can vary from person to person, but I’ve had a positive experience with it so far.Considering the ingredient combination, quality, effectiveness, and convenience, I think the price is reasonable. Overall, this has been a good addition to my routine, and I would rate it 5 stars.
