OK, these probiotics are awesome. I will not deny that. They actually work very well and significantly help reduce bloating. They keep things up and running and I actually feel a lot better after taking them for a week or two, I wasn’t sure if I would see any improvement in my mood but I was happy to find that I did..The ingredients are impressive and Zenos Health is actually a really respected brand.The pills aren’t huge and are easy to swallow but the bottle they come in is weirdly massive in comparison. A lot of the bottle is empty space. I suppose it makes it look cooler but takes up a lot of room in the medicine cabinet for nothing.These are absolutely quality probiotics, but they’re sort of a luxury product due to the cost. They’re a lot like buying a LV purse. You know it’s amazing quality, you know it’s beautiful and that you will love it…. But then you look at the price tag and realize you can also carry your make up in one of those designer bags that end up at Ross. Might not be up to the same standard, but at least your bank account won’t burst into tears.If you can afford the price tag, I definitely recommend these.

I’ve tried different brands of vaginal probiotics oral supplements and I experience side effects on all of them including this brand. This might work for others but not me. I feel the pricing is astronomical and the packaging is too wasteful. Why put 30 capsules in such a big bottle. Maybe they can cut down the cost of this supplement by cutting down the size of the bottle.

Wow. These probiotics are good. But is the price for real? As someone who has suffered from interstitial cystitis for years, I’m extremely accustomed to taking probiotics for vag health, and trying a variety of different remedies and preventions. Probiotics fall under the “Prevention” category. Recently (in the last 2-3 years) I’ve settled on soil based probiotics and I’ve seen a marked reduction in IC symptoms and actual UTI’s as well.All that to say, I’ve taken these Zenos Health VZen probiotics for a month, and did not notice any change; ie; no unpleasant side effects, my effective remission continued, and I also didn’t get any UTI’s. Now, whether that was a result of taking effective probiotics for 2-3 years prior, these alone, or a cumulative effect of both, I really can’t say. Usually the way I test a supplement is to take it for a month or two, go off it for a month, then back on it again, and note any changes each time. But the problem here, is that even though I feel these would be worth testing again, I really can’t afford the current price of $111 for a one month supply of a single supplement, no matter how good it is! Especially when I have one for around $38 that has been working for me.Other than that, these came packaged and sealed well, with no leaky or missing capsules, they’re easy to swallow, being capsules after all, and there is no unpleasant aftertaste – all the things the “reviewbots” always ask about. And yes, the ingredients in them are very good. So all in all, they’re great! They’re just very expensive. So on the value for money aspect, I’m going to have to say that’s the weak link. If money is no object to you, I’d say go ahead and get them. But if it is an issue, there are good probiotics out there for less $. YMMV.

Why is the bottle so giant?
I have been using women’s vaginal probiotics for some time. My favorite is Women’s Raw Probiotics 100 Billion CFU Organic With Prebiotics, Digestive Enzymes, Whole Food Fruits & Vegetables, & Women’s Health Ingredients by Wholesome Wellness. I wait until Black Friday and literally stock up for the whole year. However, I did run out and decided to try another brand or two. Prior to starting that probiotic, I was getting yeast infections all the time. As long as I take that on a summary of regular basis, I get absolutely no yeast infections. I did try this probiotic and it works as far as preventing the yeast infections. Or at least it seems to. However, it doesn’t seem to do it quite as well. I still do experience a little bit of itchiness here and there, whereas with the other probiotic I experience absolutely none. Additionally, the bottle that these few pills come in is comically large. It takes up a large amount of room under countertop and it is tall on top of it. It is almost completely empty when you get it. Obviously, it tells you how many pills you get on the bottle, but the bottle could hold 5 to 6 times more pills than what it actually comes in it. I find this annoying. It doesn’t need to take up so much room. Otherwise, it doesn’t really does work for me, just not as well as other brands that I’ve tried.
