This was decently priced for the size and it actually taste really good. I will say that it doesn’t mix with water as well as it does with milk. At least with a frother. I would use a small blender or something like that to make it mix better. It also makes it frothy, which is nice.

I put a scoop in my coffee first morning and it worked out great second day I did it and got such a sick stomach. Next, I tried a half a scoop. Still hurt my stomach. The collagen comes from bone marrow in the cow’s leg. I don’t eat red meat, so I need to start slow. Next if you have slow digestion, I became very constipated in a few days. I think the product is great and hope I can get used to it.

Taste is fine. But the texture… oof… it’s only good the first few sips of coffee then it turns to pudding. No matter what I do. The only way for it to not become gelatinous is to keep your coffee piping hot. I don’t slow drink my coffee. Once it’s poured I drink it within 10-15 minutes. But minute 5 it’s sludge texture. Will not buy again.

This chocolate multi collagen peptides tastes absolutely delicious! It has a rich deep chocolate flavor, that really goes well with my morning iced coffee. I find I don’t even need to add any sweetener, because this is plenty sweet enough all on its own. To get the best solubility when adding to an iced beverage, I generally just add a couple inches of coffee at first, and then blend this in with a frother stick, and then add the rest of my coffee once it’s already been blended in. Doing it this way gives the best texture and incorporation into an already cold beverage. Otherwise it’s definitely more soluble in hot beverages than it is in cold, but you can work around that. I appreciate that this has five different types of collagen, I think that’s the most effective way to get collagen into your diet to have a variety because they each have their own type of effectiveness. The only thing I was not crazy about in the ingredients was that this also includes Ashwagandha – I love that ingredient, but I also take it as its own supplement every day and I don’t want to add another 100 mg to what I’m already taking, which is what’s included in this product. I also find that that is a calming ingredient, and I’d like to put this into my morning coffee which is to give me energy to wake up during the day. I don’t think it’s effective to be taking a calming ingredient first thing in the morning, at least for me. I would rather have that effectiveness in my evening regimen which does not include cocoa powder which has caffeine. I definitely find taking collagen every day to be effective for the health of my hair skin and nails, I just think a different formulation would be better for me personally.
